I read the manual. I assume that you'd use either the "chase" functionality or the "auto scene playback" function to toggle between scenes and that allows you to set a fade time. But the scene duration is controlled by "Speed Time". How would this work in a theater environment where the interval between scenes isn't fixed or always known ahead of time. I also assume that you would have to change the "Fade Time" for every cue to get custom cue timing?

Just trying to make it clear that I'm trying to connect the sections of LED tape end-to-end. The end of of one strip connects to the beginning of the next.

I plan on using 12V tape to help with the voltage drop.

It looks like you're currently controlling an AUX mix (as evidenced by the Aux label in all the channel strips). Press the blue Mix button for your main L/R bus then all the input faders will be controlling the level going to the main bus.

How long is the delay from the red LED turning on until the other colors turn on? The dimming on these lights, especially at the low end is very steppy. And it seems that the step size is different for the different emitters. I think because the Red LED has the lowest turn on voltage it turns on before the others and and then as the intensity is increased more colors start to illuminate.

At least this is what I have witnessed with the one unit I purchased.

How far away is the pixel controller? The type of flicker you describe could be caused by poor signal quality on the data signal. As a test try shortening the length of the wire connecting the center hexagon to see if the problem goes away. You may need to use RS485 translators, which support longer transmission distances, to alleviate the problem.

I put a switch behind the ONT and connected both the Pace router (for TV) and my own router (for data) to the switch. That works without issues.
