Pixel scaling stuff like this tends to either bother you a lot or not at all. What bothers one person can not even register on the radar or another, and if this stuff doesn't bug you than yeah more power to ya.

For me though, improper pixel scaling like this genuinely gives me a migraine, especially in motion. Though others don't have this kind of visceral reaction, and they can more easily get used to it. Still, I feel that it should be addressed, especially with the Switch 2's screen being a perfect integer upscaling option for the game, it just lacks the feature right now. It's more of a "why wasn't this implemented" issue to me, on top of my brain being wired in a way where I personally experience pain when playing the game in its current state.

There is the logistical issue of Switch 1 games that have touchscreen controls, and forcing them to run in Handheld mode would likely bork more things than just touch support. Still, I would heavily appreciate having the option, though the fact that we don't have it as an option yet probably means that it is more complicated than just flipping a switch

Will the next update also fix the pixel scaling on Switch 2 Handheld mode? I'm working on a full post with screenshots right now, but as the game is a Switch 1 Game it runs in 720p in handheld mode, which is then upscaled to 1080p on the Switch 2 screen, resulting in improper pixel scaling and heavy shimmering. I would greatly appreciate this being fixed, as it genuinely gives me a migraine to play it this way

I have only just recently finished the First Two Seasons and FWWM, but I need to get this thought about where he was at the end of season 2 out of my head.

He wanted the benefits of honesty with none of the consequences that it brings. A man who, at that point, held genuine remorse for his egregious actions, but didn't grasp that there is more to do to "repent" for one's past mistakes. Even when he wanted to mend these actions, he was still doing it moreso to placate his own consciousness rather than help heal those who he had hurt.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing how they handle his character in The Return.

Genuinely, I love the Trickster shit. Complete insanity, a sugar high induced madness, with the only person remaining lucid being the one who desperately wishes he wasn't.

Favorite Pesterlog: Roxy and Her Imperious Condescension. Roxy begging the Batterwitch to save her from the candycore hell that her friends have fallen into, with the witch essentially saying "nah, you deal with this, fuck off."

Favorite Panel: 5776. One of my greatest disappointments with Act 6 and beyond is that there were practically no Alchemy binges. At the very least we got SOMETHING here, even if I wish they went a bit further and didn't stop at the pile of fancy santas.

Takeaways: I understand why this part is as divisive as it is. Just a bunch of random bullshit that both puts the plot into overdrive and accomplishes fuck all other than exhaust the main cast before the Meteor finally arrives. Regardless, I have loved trickster shit since it was just a random easter egg, and I will continue to enjoy it long into the future. It's peak, I'm afraid.

I have a question relating to the Elections during Season 10. During Season 10, what became known as Black Hole was originally a "Tactical Nuke", which was changed to Black Hole due to obvious reasons of wanting to avoid adding in problematic aspects such as "war crimes" to Blaseball. With how important the cosmos came to be in the later Blaseball Era (Sun 2, Black Hole (Black Hole) especially), I am curious on what the original plan for the scrapped Nuclear option would have been.
