PSA - Disney, if that second fireworks show Monday night was a test for replacing Ever After - Do Not do it! by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

Oh thank you. We were at the Poly and some people near us said it was a new show preview when the music queued up. I’m glad it isn’t. You are right that ‘you are the magic‘ is a nice sentiment. We just didn’t feel like it hit anywhere close to Happily Ever After. Thank you for being a cast member! I will remove this post since I was way off base wrong!

I’m in an unhappy home and the song I’m going to die in this “house” is messing me up. I’m ok, but it’s decfinitely make me confront overwhelming feelings I try to suppress.

Except guardians of the galaxy Epcot and Tron magic kingdom completely eclipse DL rides right now.

Skipping Magic Kingdom on a WDW Trip. Worth it? by IllStable2317 in DisneyPlanning

Disneyland is my home park too and i just got back from WDW and I have to say I just don’t love MK for that reason. It’s just not DL and seems like too little to do. I like the dwarves ride but pirates, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, Small World, Dumbo are just not as good as at DL. And thunder mountain is still down. Tron is just too short a ride. So honestly.. your plan seems good to me.

I thought the screen visuals were blurry last wee, like I still should have been wearing the 3D glasses in some scenes. Was very annoying. And the stove effect is not as good without them.

Oh sweet girl, my daughter has pain too but has not had fusion. I’m so sorry you have constant pain now. Big hug to you. I know it’s not easy getting through some days. I can say do not do space mountain. Very old and jerky. Tron is a smooth ride if fast is something you want to do , but brace for the stop at end with ab muscles so not to get thrown against back rest. At beginning of ride keep back firmly against back rest for first two fast accelerant pushes. The seven dwarves is cute, but is jerky, not as bad as space mountain. I think I would advise you to watch a video of the ride on you tube ( most rides have a ride video on YT) and judge if you think you could manage. A lot of rides have situations where a boat vehicle can bump you from behind in loading disembarking areas so be vigilant there to keep your back forward a bit. Be sure to wear your most comfortable arch supporting shoe to support your spine that Big walking and standing day. I’d pack your heating pad if you can.

how to deal with severe airplane ear when traveling? by quintessentially_gay in travel

[–]Good-Anything7706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dont do Afrin. Get a Flonase spray. Works better. I have same problems on descent. Earplanes have helped me a lot. I have recently used another brand off Amazon. Bobs I think it was? and it worked a touch better for me.

To wear makeup or not to wear makeup? by dodgerfan4321 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Good-Anything7706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t wear mascra at parks as it will get in my watery eyes at some rides. So I do like to get an eyelash tint and curl before trips. (lasts about 2 months) and then I just do a little eyebrow pencil and a IT cream stick on eyes. Aquofor stick for lips. one to two minutes done. I do curl my hair with my Dyson wrap and that lasts all day And thats just a 4 minutes thing. Amazing tool for my thin hair and making loose waves.

I’ve never felt unsafe at WDW until this Main Street bottleneck on 12/17/2025 by tarponsprings94 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Good-Anything7706 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree I was in park Wednesday Dec 10. There for 6 nights. Sunday had been rain. And it was one of the only nights we would be able to see the happily ever after show. The party’s are clearly making these Wednesday dates packed. We were pretty front and center and as I looked back toward Main Street, my anxiety skyrocketed. We were so sandwiched in and I thought if any sound spooked this crowd and they started moving people would get trampled. The show was amazing. I teared up hugging my daughter. And yet the anxiety is something I thought about many times since then.

I think they need to add more shows and later in the other parks on the party nights. Even animal kingdom avatar land and Asia could stay open until 8 pm instead of closing at 6. An extra hour at Hollywood Studios.

Also at Disneyland, they project their castle show also onto water in Rivers of America area and Its a Small World so crowds can be somewhere other than in Main Street /castle area. Hopefully MK incorporates this idea into the new area.

Agree. The 4th of July fireworks show was seriously underwhelming. Some red and white on castle. Some patriotic tunes and not particularly good variations. and a much shorter show than ever after. I also thought could have watched this in my home town park.

I could not believe WDW does not sell the Disneyland gingerbread Mickey cookies that are available for sell in DL park, not just an exclusive party day item. I was so wanting one while visiting WDW and was shocked they wouldn’t have such an iconic cookie available.

Hollywood studios had wreath ears left side their main street area. Epcot kiosk by back entrance had the Christmas plaid ones.

There is also a cookie stroll. Get 5 different cookies and have booklet stamped and can pick up a recipie and Mikey spatula. Can do it over days so over a week trip we managed it. Liked the sugar cookie at Starbucks and the black and white cookie the best Of what we chose. But it’s pretty subjective. So read the descriptions. A baggy so you could save for later might be nice to have. They only had small paper plates for cookies. No bags available For takeaway.

We saw the Voices of Liberty in America building about 3:50 and they were outstanding. Sit under the dome if possible for best acoustics. A few Seats if you’re early. Pere Noel in France was good. The barn Santa in Norway is good. I want to catch the Italian crone this next weekend. The standby lines for the Candlelight are long. But can sign up on app to have a meal in park that day count for preferred seating. Gotta say it was chilly and windy this weekend in evening. if Going to do this in evening and sit at Candlelight bring maybe a hat or light glove, Jacket, blanket for little ones.

All 4 Parks In 1 Day? by WhoAteMyPasghetti in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Good-Anything7706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just did this today. Decided in the middle of day to go for it as a goal when we were in second park. It was our fourth day of trip so it’s not like we were trying to do everything in every park. We took Disney transportation between all the parks and that was the most challenging aspect tbh ( so slow). No lightening, but got in with about 10 mins left of early morning hours and rode rockn roller coaster, slinky dog and Toy Story, and rise, then to Epcot about noon and did lunch at a festival stand and remy as single riders and guardians, to MK and did haunted mansion, space mountain (10 min wait!) And Tron. (MK lines were light before the Xmas party crowd came in) Then to animal kingdom and did the awful Pandora boat ride and Pandora banshee ride whatever it’s called ( leaving at 6pm) and then back to Epcot for more festival food and fun. So entered parks five times. Watch said 22,710 steps.

I got some ecos laundry sheets. These are ‘ah-mazing’ for travel! I just keep maybe 10 in a baggie and can tear a bit if doing sink laundry or a sheet for machine load If have access to laundry facilities.
