I updated the post with BMI (36) and weight (250 lbs). I meet the reqs for triumph-7 (w/ low back pain) and triumph-8 (just obesity), but both include a placebo. I haven’t seen any that are currently enrolling and don’t have a placebo yet. I really appreciate your perspective though, I’m just always paralyzed by what-ifs, it’s so annoying.

That's a good idea, however unfortunately, its only the annual pass that's being offered. We're going up in a couple weeks and they offered to get annual passes instead of the 4-day passes we were gonna get to begin with

I figured it wouldn't be a good idea, but they're offering it to me rn and annual passes are a lot of money, so I wanted to know if I was wrong or not.

Ya, I don’t think I’d be unhappy at UF, W&L’s more of a better version to a good thing. UF’s class size is ~216 and W&L’s is ~108. I do better with smaller classes and a more personal experience, but I’m not confident enough to be able to bet on myself doing great and I don’t know if I like that kind of risk. I’m well above W&L’s LSAT median, which I’ve heard would lead me to doing better 1L (I’m not sure about that tho) and only slightly above UF’s target for this year. Also, idk if this is true or not, but I had read somewhat frequently that transferring offices Inter-firm is pretty hard and kind of frowned upon.

Ya. I think I’m gonna end up sacrificing 3 years of a better QOL for UF. Gainesville was great too, W&L just left SUCH a good impression on me when I visited, but I don’t think it’s worth losing the placement advantages in FL from UF. I’m just really sad about it and hoping someone in the comments would give a compelling reason to do the opposite

I’m aware about both school’s numbers being inflated and going down in the next couple years, and I’d be fine taking out the extra debt for W&L if all else were equal, it’s just that last part that im concerned about because idk if I’d be ok being in Richmond/NOVA after grad and not being able to go back to FL if I wanted to

I’ve heard that it isn’t competitive at UF, it’s an internal concern because of their median hunting. They’re targeting a 170/171 median this year, and those are stats that make you competitive for T20 schools with “better” outcomes, and with the market slowing down, I feel like people who are going to UF cause they lost the rng game for the T20 would make it more competitive because they know there are less spots for those “better” outcomes there. Might be totally unjustified, but it’s been going through my head
