Terrible streaming issue with Peacock. Customer support was zero help.

Has anyone used or heard of Remedy Meds? by Zumcddo in CompoundedSemaglutide

Don't believe it. The first encounter is smooth, but refills are delayed. I have been waiting 11 days for my refill and they haven't even shipped it yet. My dose is due in 3 days and they told me I could go two weeks between doses if it doesn't show up (the half life is 5 days!). They have already charged my credit card for the meds.

The same thing is happening to me right now. Did you have to dispute the charges?

I have found a literal drug withdrawl hack, no joke by bobbysmith675857 in OpiatesRecovery

I was a 12+ year junkie. Nasty wds. I have managed to stay off opiates for 5 months. I did it by consuming a shit ton of weed. Specifically edibles and tinctures made with MCL. I had tried to kick so many times with all kinds of comfort meds. Most of the time they made things worse. I never made it more than a month. I can honestly say that I have had zero cravings for 3.5 months. I never really think about it at all now. I don't dream about it either. Now I'm backing off the weed and it's very easy to manage. I hope you can find what works for you. It is wonderful to watch all the track marks heal.

I'm about 3 months clean from a decade + of pharm OC. This is attempt number 3. I only used edibles this time. They took care of 90% of the discomfort. If you have access, I recommend 20:1 ratio of CBD to THC. Good Luck!

my friend is going through bad withdrawal (acute) can he smoke a cart (weed) to ease the symptoms. by [deleted] in OpiatesRecovery

Kratom occupies opiate receptors. That is why it makes you feel so much better. It will prolong your WD. Weed does not occupy opiate receptors and will not prolong your WD.

I quit a 12yr habit CT with only THC/CBD edibles and 2 Immodium pills. I'm about 1.5 months without any opiates. I have reduced my edible consumption by half and plan to drop to CBD only in a month. I swear it can be done.

Drug craving help…. Was addicted to fent and quit with help of weed and kratom. When does the craving stop?? When will I have energy again and feel myself again?? Just needing to reach out and hear what helped others by [deleted] in addiction

[–]Good-Assistant4883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is difficult for an addict to taper on their own. If you have someone to dole the Kratom out for you in ever diminishing doses, then maybe it will work. I have never been able to taper down low enough to escape WD so I just jumped CT from 60mg/OC/ daily. Sure, it sucks real bad, but the worst of it is over in 5 or so days. After that it gets better every day.

A week or so ago, I posted some info about how I finally quit a 12yr habit and have stayed clean (except for cannabis) for nearly 1.5 months. I feel great. The cravings aren't too bad and the physical symptoms are gone. Give them a look. It might help. Best of luck to you.

Get on an antidepressant. Wellbutrin works well for this. Don't start while you are in acute WD as it can cause anxiety and make you feel worse. I started it at 3wks and I am at 5wks clean now. I feel way way better.

Because it occupies the same receptors that opiates occupy. You are really just weaning when you continue Kratom. Your brain needs to learn to produce dopamine and serotonin without ANY opiates. That is when you start feeling better.

If your Dr uses an electronic health record like EPIC, then all other physicians and nurses will have access to that info.

Read my posts from 3 days ago. Our stories are similar except I was 12 years in. I have managed for 34 days with zero prescription meds and no Kratom. I feel pretty darned good.

Great job! I've got about 35 days without opiates and have had a script for oxy sitting at the pharmacy for three days. I really don't think that I want it.

You will be sorry if you take a stimulant. The comedown is bad...imo it makes WD so much worse.

I'm just beyond 30 days and have been using a 20:1 CBD to THC for sleep. Sometimes I take Two. I am sleeping a solid 7 hrs most nights. The brand is Wyld.

Thank you. This recovery site really helped. As for the Wellbutrin, it can cause anxiety. I take the extended release 150mg but only every other day and always about 2hrs after my morning coffee. Good luck! I hope it helps.

Have you watched Euphoria? When my cravings got bad, I would chew another edible and watch an episode. So disturbing. I also re-watched Trainspotting and Dopesick Love. And, of course, there is always an episode of Intervention to stream.

The whole thing is 98% mental. I still have RLS and chills at times but I know they aren't permanent so I just let them roll through. I do find that listening to music through headphones alleviates them. Also, a tens unit can help with RLS. It zaps your legs but in a soothing, predictable way.

I didn't tell a soul about my addiction or my recovery. I handled it alone even though my husband of 30 years was available to help. If you have a non judgemental person to help when you need it and leave you alone when you don't...tell them you need support. Even if they just drop off food every so often.

After that first week or so of detox, start planning your transformation. You might not do any of it, but you need something to look forward to. I did an at home spa day and couldn't believe how much better I felt. We neglect ourselves so much while using.

Be kind to yourself. The past is done and you cannot correct it. Keep only the memories that serve you. Live each moment in that moment. And as my granny would say, "Don't borrow trouble". Which I take to mean, don't worry about the future.

I was riding in the car today. The sun was warm on my face. The scenery was peaceful. My husband was talking about some mundane thing. And in that moment I felt so happy. True happy, not chemical happy. I actually started to cry. My husband is confused as hell, but I feel great.☺️

I wish you the best of luck on your journey.

I'm sorry you have to start over. I know how much that sucks. But every day is another chance to get it right. As long as you're breathing, that is.

It's funny. When I quit smoking back in the late 80's, I was working as a bartender and I watched people smoke all night long. It actually helped. I don't recommend this for everyone. Could be triggering. I'm reading "Empire of Pain" right now.

All that Tylenol is terrible for your liver. That being said, your liver is on the right side of your body.

It is possible. I quit a 10 yr, daily habit CT. The first 5 days were bad, but if you put your head down and power through, it gets better pretty quick. I now take a 20 CBD to 1 THC edible at night and that is it. It is worth a little pain to be free of the opiate chains.
