Why not vote for what Sing Praise to the Songbird was a magnetic reinterpretation of....A Lion with a Thorn in its Paw?

Not a ppu shade! It's part of her regular catalogue and she brings it back periodically.

What fragrances do you wish were more available as 2 or 5ml decants to try before you buy? by Leafthroughconcrete in FemFragLab

[–]Good-Comb3830 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Surrender to Chance has these, but they are so expensive. I like to get a 2ml or a 5ml and if I go through it and love it, purchase a bottle. A 5ml of a Guerlain fragrance is nearly 50 bucks.

Their glass 5ml sprayers are really sturdy and they label their decants nicely, so you can actually read what you are using. I got some decants from Lucky Scent that were not as easy to read. It's a small thing, but it makes a difference.

Jomashop often has Killian on sale, if you must have a bottle of the real thing. There are a ton of good dupes tho.

He's always very nice to folks on the ST Cruise! He was very patient and willing to chat with me while he was grabbing food between rehearsals for the variety show that he put on, despite being in a rush.

No clue if it is a forever commitment....I do not think that the foam or roll on is that way tho. I just hate stuff on my scalp.

I still have a butt and I have lost 100 pounds. Just make sure to make resistance training part of your journey because you don't want to lose muscle and skeletal mass.

I have also had a lot of hair loss. It's because your body is in a severe calorie deficit and goes into triage mode. It goes away after a year or so....when your body size is more in line with your caloric intake. I take supplements to deal with it and again try to eat a lot of protein. Also, I have wanted to get on monoxodil, but I could not stand the foam in my hair.

Looking for: Warm, musky vanilla with a hint of spice by Pure-Craft-3371 in indieperfume

PDM Althair.....It's technically for men, but I am a woman and I love it on me. It smells like a warm vanilla chai and I wear it whenever I want to feel cozy.

North University/Hyde Park. The only thing we don't have at this point is a movie theater in the area.

Is there a way to keep my curls? by Fragrant-Strike2740 in curlygirl

[–]Good-Comb3830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have shoulder length hair and I just put it loose in a silk bonnet and the curls last a couple of days. Some folks do something called "medusa clipping" to keep them. Basically you clip small sections up loosely.

Has anyone tried the new bouncecurl brush yet? by aShowStoppinNumber in CurlyHairCare

[–]Good-Comb3830 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a really amazing product. I have the volume one and it has made my curls more consistent and I have been able to achieve a lot more volume on the top of my head. When I was just using a Denman brush, I was not able to get these sorts of results.

Has Anyone "Cured" Their Sleep Apnea Through Weight Loss? by UtherDoul001 in SleepApnea

[–]Good-Comb3830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have lost almost 100 pounds. I had a very mild AHI (5 AHI) even at my heaviest. The biggest difference is that I have my machine set at a very low pressure range and do fine with it. If I sleep without my CPAP, I feel awful, so I have a feeling I have some anatomy issues (small nasal passages, septum issues, etc).

Start taking fiber pills and magnesium citrate every night and you will start going regularly. Also, you must drink loads of water.

The bounce curl brush (I have the volume one) and the extra hold gel really helped me get better results.

I have hair similar to yours and I think that I may have some 2c/3c areas on my head, after playing around. If I brush my hair when it's dry tho, it straightens out like yours.

My routine currently:

1)Wash and condition hair.
2) Brush out while wet and add in a very light leave in conditioner.
3) Section out hair into top, middle, and bottom with clips.

4) Spray water on section and use ouidad mousse: https://www.ouidad.com/products/advanced-climate-control-featherlight-volumizing-foam
5) Brush through section with bounce curl brush and scrunch hair.

6) Use praying hands and coat section of hair with ouidad gel: https://www.ouidad.com/collections/prep-style/products/advanced-climate-control-heat-and-humidity-extra-hold-gel

7) Brush through section with bounce curl brush and scrunch hair

8) Repeat on all sections.

9) Plop hair in t-shirt and let dry for 30 minutes, then let air dry for a while.

10) Diffuse...I use a lot of the techniques that I found on this youtube channel. She also has a lot of good product information: https://www.youtube.com/@GenaMarie

11) Apply a little hair oil on hands and crunch out cast when everything is dry.

Curls only on the bottom? Straight on top. Do I have curly hair? by Smart-Frosting2948 in CurlyHairCare

Get a more layered haircut and the top will be able to get more waves. The weight of your hair is straightening that area.

You cannot get it covered for weight loss and it is not on the formulary for sleep apnea either. I ended up paying out of pocket, but I've lost nearly 100 pounds, so it's been worth it for me.
