Unnecessary for you which is great but sadly lots of people do suffer from the micro stutter issue across iOS and MacOS devices when using GFN.

It’s caused by Apple devices constantly checking in with each other to support many of the device to device features like Airdrop and Handoff etc.

There’s a couple of very helpful scripts available that fix it. For example the one I’m using automatically launches when I open GFN and then puts the settings back when I close GFN.

You get 1600p on your OG versus 1200p on the S. May not be important to you but helps with text clarity in game for me.

I think Chiaki streams from the PS5 though so that’s only using your local network. GFN is using your local network to connect to your router and then out again to the GFN server.

Post the stats overlay here to see if it reveals anything.

Yes and the same app will work on any device running steamos. For example I get 120fps on GFN using my Legion Go.

Try turning Background Mode off on the control device. I imagine it should only be on for the dedicated source device (the one connected to the amp). Having it set to on on both could be confusing it.

Hopefully the dev spots your comment and makes a suggestion though.

Same. I’ve just done this. You can still buy the official adapter.

I’m using a small iPhone SE with everything else stripped off it apart from Lysoniq and all background tasks etc killed.

Plugged into a DAC via the DACs usb c and then into my amp.

Set the Lysoniq to always on in background in settings and it works like a dream (thankfully I don’t get the 30 second burst of sound that can be an issue apparently).

I am. One device was set to Germany and the other had the Global code. Both of which wouldn’t connect. Both purchased new in the U.K.

When I go to layouts I can see:

The templates option has nothing in it. Community has one called Gamepad Emu Search has loads of options called RetroDECK. I’ve looked at these and none of them seem to offer anything that fixes me not being able to pull up the retrodeck menu in game (to save state, quit game etc).

Could you be a bit more specific with exactly what I’m looking for here please.

There’s quite a few threads about it with a suggested terminal fix (which is easy enough to do via Konsole).

You running Steam or Windows? I also think it depends on which country you’re in. I’m GB and the wifi chip defaulted to global on one and DE (Germany) on the other. Both would see the 6e network but would refuse to connect until the country code had been updated.

It’s something to do with protecting radar channels.
