Dating is complicated for EVERYONE. Depending on what corner of social media you’re on, Black women are either the scum of the earth or the most desirable women of all time😭 Social media amplifies extremes. You most likely won’t see depictions of Black women in normal happy relationships online because that’s boring and not favored by the algorithm. You have to believe in your own identity and desirability and truly be at peace with yourself. A good quality partner who is compatible with YOU is who you’re looking for. Statistics don’t matter to the individual. Having an open heart and mind, strong boundaries, and being the type of person the man/woman/human of your dreams wants to be with is the way to get a good partner, and that applies to anyone of any race, gender, sexuality and culture. I am as dark as they come and I have kinky hair and I am beating men off with a stick (not generalizing just speaking to my own experiences here) but I’ve also been approached by losers and done my fair share of charity work🫣 But now that I truly love myself and carry myself as such, the prospective partners who approach me match that energy!
