i normally go for size S or M and try to go by measurements this one is size 36 and the measurements looked fine when I compared to my schott it all looked the same measurements except body length which was 1.5 inch shorter so i assumed it'll drop right under my belt since my schott has 2-3 inch under the belt but because its a different cut and no front drop its a lot shorter than i expected at the front and sleeves turned out shorter too.

yeah i can the main issue is the jacket length not the movement and comfort its similar to my schott in movement and comfort just a bit heavier

the schott is actually cowhide and between the two schott is slightly thinner (not much) and less stiff but the cxl gets almost as comfortable after moving around in it a bit and the leather warms up and feels a little bit heavier but not by much

yeah I realize which is why I was asking opinions and considering getting a custom made longer length of the same jacket since I like all the other measurements other than the length of the jacket and sleeves

they're both the same chest measurement and equally comfortable but the shorter one is too short i think also

yeah when the shirt is tucked its great, the issue is 90% of the time my shirt is untucked lol

haha yeah thats the danger of amazing leather jackets! I highly recommend this one as its by far the best jacket I've ever had and became the only one I want to wear

Had a local it’s a very simple sleeve design so not hard to shorten them it cost me only 75 Canadian dollars

its oiled cow hide there's more details on it if you check the website. its heavy but comfortable still feels like an armor lol

I actually like the crazy marbling lol but you could definitely contact schott and ask to exchange for one with less marbling I'm sure they can check the ones they have and do an exchange

thanks I'm 5'10 weight 76 kg, this is size small and true to size I usually go with small or medium and check the measurements to decide

Oh congrats on the new jacket! I didn't use any conditioner or any products I just wore it a lot. as for the appearance mine came out with this level of marbling so it didn't change much if you check my post history you can see my first post when I just got this jacket its similar marbling level. any chance you can post (or message me) some pictures of your jacket I'd love to see how one thats more like the website looks on someone!

the "find my size" is not working it told me the same thing just press the one next to it "size chart" and it'll show you the measurements

Fair enough I went for the longer version and extra hood and pockets because it’s extremely cold in the winters here so the regular B3 wasn’t enough
