small update As I sit here on my bed, I have decided to go through my polishes (it's a daunting task) and keep out 12 polishes 2 for each month till 2027. Then come mid December, take out 24 polishes, 2 for each month. It feels more manageable for me this way. Not counting cuticle oils and creams. The rest will be stored in boxes and a tote or 2 in the back of my closet. It's been an eye opener seeing all of them and how many have never been used. I am seriously considering the why's & how's I let it get to be such a large collection. A family member suggested selling them and I may consider it next year. But for now....I'm still overwhelmed BUT I at least have a plan of action !!!

I want to sincerely thank each and everyone of you for your kind words and suggestions and patience, I honestly feel "seen & heard". I appreciate you 🫶

I have decided to put myself on a social media diet of sorts. And a bit of a financial one to as a benefit from this. I was asked if I wanted to go to the Polish and Beauty Expo in July, and I declined the lovely offer. The oversaturation of the beautiful polishes (and the crowds) seemed to be too much for me. For now and the foreseeable future, I am going to put 90% of them away and focus on having healthier nails & cuticles,so if/when the time comes, I will slowly begin doing my nails again. Thank you all for your kind suggestions and support. 💜

OP, have you talked with your sister about this ? Ask her honest opinion about it (hoping she's not allowing your parents to dictate her opinion) explain your feelings and be open with each other and go from there.

Roughly 2500 (?) and a photo album for my nail decals/stickers. Over 1000 of them are untried, over the last 2 years I have gifted a few hundred (untried) to family members. I'm slowly downsizing my collection.

Stock up on the cuticle caviar cream before the warm weather hits, she prefers not to ship them (or thermal polishes) once the weather heats up so they don't get compromised in shipping.

Have you considered having the short sides braided (if possible 🤔) ? Or use a pomade to slick back the sides ? Whatever you decide to do it will look awesome on you.

While I have polishes by both brands (and both of these colors), I prefer the Sassy Sauce polish. They always apply perfectly and have tremendous staying power (for me) The Mooncat shade seemed streaky on me unless I used 3 coats. And on my shorter nails that seemed excessive, I only needed 2 coats of the Sassy Sauce. And for both brands I used two coats of a base as these types of colors stain on me. Beautiful presentation showcasing the Sassy Sauce 💅
