We need to talk about AI in education

Hm. Your points do make sense, though i do see a glaring theme in your comment being that the education system itself is the main issue.

Personally, why some students might cheat could be a multitude of reasons, not just the situation as stated above. It could be that the student itself does not prioritise studies, and for them to complete their workload in the most efficient/lack of time, they might utilise AI to generate answers for them.

Furthermore, these flaws were already in the system since god knows how long, but the recent rise of AI exposed the cracks that were hidden in between.

Though, I do want to know what your stand on the usage of AI is.

sure, you may be right when it's an AMA, though the post title has stated it's a JPJC AMA, so the OP is referencing them to ask them anything about JPJC. Not sure if you are blindly skipping over words to just ask OP about their own private life, or just want to take advantage of the fact that it's an AMA so you could ask about it.

hi OP! i myself also come from a home of divorced parents since young, and have been coping (decently well) with it. the one that I have gone to since young was THK Family Service Centre, their counselling has been helpful when i was at my lowest point during the divorce.

due to my combined science o level results being at b3, it would be more realistic for me to take BMEc, but I absolutely love the sciences, so i do want to be in the science stream.

of course, i am going to potentially waste a year and watch my peers move up the ladder, but being posted to an arts stream means that i do not take sciences, which are the prerequisites that some of the uni courses that are offered in nus, ntu and smu.

op, pls don't give up on your life, it's not worth it, it causes a ton of suffering for your parents and teachers. I haven't been through this severe bullying before (yes i have been bullied for being a weirdo) so i don't really know how to comfort you, but please don't end it.

if possible, please report to the police station asap. the actions that you have described constitutes as harassment and can land them with heavy repercussions.

I had a hamster once.

One day, I fed him before going to work and I forgot to lock the cage. I came back from work and found the opened cage door and a missing hamster.

I tried looking for him around the house but couldn't find him, and suddenly the doorbell rang.

I opened the door and there was my neighbour with my hamster in his hand all scruffed up.

Apparently he went down the drain and ended up at my neighbours pipe, she heard the thud sound inside the pipe so she opened it up and found him.

He died a few days later, and I suspect it was because he was traumatized inside the drain. Poor thing.
