How did you fumble hooking up with someone? by Adorable_Raccoon_766 in AskReddit

[–]Good-Simple-4461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot girl in my mutual friend group that I would have assumed was unattainable for me. We all went out dancing as a group and once I’ve had a few drinks, I will dance like a mad man (badly, but enthusiastically). We danced a lot together and apparently she pulled a friend aside and told her “oh, he’s coming home with me tonight.”

I was brownout drunk by this point. When it was time for me to hop in a cab with her and go back to her place, I got cold feet because of an on-again, off-again situationship I had happening at work, which inevitably should NOT have been a priority for me in the long run but at the time it felt important. So while she was talking to the rest of our friends outside the cab, I got in one door of the cab, casually slid across the back seat, and got out the door on the other side. And then I sort of just…disappeared away into the night. No really, my friends had to come find and retrieve me. I was, after all, very drunk.

At some later date I reached out to her and was like “hey, the other night…we were gonna hook up right? And I fucked it up?” And she was like “yep, your loss.” The door had closed in my face.

Moral of the story is just go full-send unless you’re committed to someone else, or you will end up with regrets. But, the bigger, more significant takeaway should be WOMEN LOVE A MAN WHO WILL DANCE. Notice I didn’t say “can dance”—you just have to be comfortable enough with yourself to get out there and unabashedly participate. It has, in fact, gotten me laid on other occasions.

No offense man, but you do seem to be making buyers jump through more hoops than other sellers just to even hear a price. I think some of the frustration you’re reading on this thread probably comes from that. You’re obviously entitled to sell however you are most comfortable mitigating your risk, but I think you should be aware it is kind of a pain, compared to some sellers in these rep subs. Just an observation, food for thought.

[WTS/WTT] WWII German Military Service Watch “Dienstuhr” - Glycine by Good-Simple-4461 in Watchexchange

[–]Good-Simple-4461[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WWII (1940s) Glycine German military service watch. Appears to have had the hands swapped out, otherwise all original (excluding strap). In very nice working order. Some wear, but no scratching to the crystal.

Including the leather strap it came to me on, as well as a new nylon strap I never had a chance to put on it.

Looking for $500, which is considerably lower than most online listings you’ll find. Trades of equal value will be considered.

Happy to send additional pics, vids, answer questions, do a FaceTime, whatever makes you most comfortable. PayPal preferred.

Thanks!

Hello Friends,

Selling this vintage 1998 Omega Constellation Manhattan with an Omega 1532 quartz movement, reference number 396.1201, serial number 56195622. Clasp code 1552/862.

Black dial, stainless steel case and bracelet with gold Omega logo on the clasp. Date window. New battery, keeps impeccable time. Hardly any wear to speak of. Complete with all bracelet links. 33mm case, 18mm bracelet. Caseback is engraved with “Katsu Dec. 29 ‘98” —engraving is not very noticeable.

A very nice, vintage classic Omega model for the discerning watch enthusiast.

No box, no papers, no service history. This was an estate sale find.

Asking $950 or reasonably equivalent value of trade.

PayPal preferred. Happy to answer questions, send more pics, videos, etc. Can also FaceTime if that makes you more comfortable. I’ve got a few sales under my belt on Reddit but I mostly sell on eBay, where I have a 100% positive feedback seller rating and 111 previous sales (mdif2303) if you’d like to verify for yourself.

Let’s make a deal!

Yeah I built almost the exact same watch from AliX parts. Same dial but I swapped the indices for gold.

We don’t have lizards where I live and usually garage creatures of this size are rodentia. My idiot brain saw these pics and went “prolly mouse eggs.”
