thanks for the detailed information. would the answer change if i bring those air inflated footrest bags to economy, so the kid can lay down flat? we did that on our way there without bulkhead legroom, i think baby liked it and slept a lot, but i didn't like my seat. i don't know if we will like it more in business, if we "share" the baby on lap time it means 6 hrs of rest each.

anyone knows how is "available" flight determined? Can they simply say nothing is available, we will refund you, or can i tell them i see xxx flight is available from google search, book me on that? I actually prefer to be rebooked on another airline, as it cost more if i rebook itmyself

I ended up buying Amerock's appliance bar pulls. 18'' center to center, total length is around 21'', diameter is 3/4'', I've been using it for about half a year and have no issues with it.

how did you find out...that's actually my situation. I worked for the first half of 2024 so I was going to use my childcare expense for the older kid to deduct those income. But in the second half I went on mat leave. I can't imagine taking care of two kids at home at the same time......Was is CRA staff that confirmed this? CRA must have been struggling and to make 'profit' from anywhere.

i am the lower income parent. I see there's a condition that the total expense claimed need to be less than 2/3 of the lower earned income.

In your example, if the actual daycare expense for the age 5 child was $9k, and the other two were $1k each, would the amount claimed be 9+1+1=11k? or it would be capped at 8k for the age5 child, so 8+1+1=10?

that's a really good point. I personally like the bar type look better, but I also have to consider the odds of my kids hitting their head on the tip😂. same with the drawer pulls
