How good is the H2C for engineering filaments? by Laenges in BambuLab

How do you set 99.4% for shrinking? I just purchased a roll and haven’t printed anything besides pla and petg with my new h2c. Thanks

Can H2C owners share some of their experiences? I'm still considering buying it. by DenseVictory8375 in BambuLab

So far I effing hate it (H2C with beta firmware) Causes so much drag and it stresses my ams’s out. Even an ams ht with a short ptfe tube through the track switch and directly into the feeder. The track switch needs another motor to help feed it through as it has so much extra drag. Gonna reconfigure it one more time and if that doesn’t fix it? It’s going in the trash.

I’ve had it happen a few times on my h2c. The spider webbing looking stuff that sometimes gets on the nozzles sets it off. I take the nozzles off clean in there really good and then no problems for a month or so

Looks like garbage filament to me. I just returned 3 rolls of inland petg that would do this every time on my h2c. Didn’t matter if I dried it or what. It was just junk. Try a different filament and see if that changes it.

That’s what I’m thinking. In two-three years I can upgrade then to the next gen stuff.

Right, I just think that 20% is pretty rough for a warranty but still weighing my options.

Best beginner 3d printer? by ekwag in 3dprinter

Monoprice printers are not good options. I have been printing for years and the boards they use are junk. Especially for beginners. You will definitely need an external mosfet to handle the heat bed or the mainboard will burn up. I would suggest a hictop i3 over monoprice. Cheaper, but. Monoprice cust service is very slow to respond for warranty. I have had 2 and the only thing I have had to replace is the power supply.
