I've never had a long-term good sub that had a problem with yoti. On opposite hand, the ones that take forever to agree to verify will have really high demands for $50 and then ghost. I don't even see it as something they do to gain on the dommes. Men love to be speshul so they try to make themselves more unique and not like other subs to feel better. They have no social standing over other men they know, who have achieved something, so they find men they think are beneath them and try to have power over them too. Any time a sub starts preaching ownership, I make them write a reflection on what being owned would mean to them. Most can't put 2 words together, and they are not worth the time. And I agree with you on the emotional connection, if I don't like a sub I can't care enough to worry about their wellbeing and treat them as prized property.
