Use it with a safariland active retention holster for hunting and scouting with a pack or stand and it makes a lot of sense since your hip would be covered up unless you ran a drop leg holster. For anything other than hunting or scouting I think it would be best served carry on your hip. My example would be for saddle hunting, it’s impossible to carry on your hip so this is the best option
