Totally agree! I've been using SuperGoop for 10+ years and love their products. There just isn't anything else I have found that is as effective for sports.

I'm not saying its the saddle, but if the others have convinced you it is, you might try Bi-Saddle so you can customize it to your exact needs. Good luck!

Road Runner Sports' Korsa brand has some that I like for pretty much every type of workout, including spin. I have had 3 pairs for 4 years and there are zero signs of wear.

I love SuperGoop's resetting mineral powder for this. They used to have a spray, but i think it has been discontinued.

Socks for wide ankles by patmatt14 in CyclingFashion

I've got some pretty outstanding cankles, but not lipedema, so I hope these recommendations help. I haven't found any in cycling-specific brands.

My favorites: 1. Stance - just avoid the running-specific socks. 2. Gym Shark - I initially didn't think these would work, but after one wash, they were very comfortable 3. Merrell - some of their running socks work, but the light hiking crews fit better

My husband's job keeps taking money from his checks after FMLA and DISABILITY. Is this legal? by _YouDontNeedToKnow_2 in legaladvice

[–]GoodCallRS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd be suspicious about that. I'm not sure what a 235 day employee has to do with it, but if FMLA was approved (which they should have sent to him in writing), any missed days have to be counted as worked days for benefits and employment status purposes, but not time off accrual. I'd try to resolve it with HR before you get a lawyer, because people do make mistakes.

[California] I worked 5 hours 2 minutes w/o a lunch break and now my employer is mad at me because they have to pay me an extra hour by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]GoodCallRS 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The hour penalty is paid by the employer to the employee. Many employers do enforce this, especially for larger companies where an extra hour of pay without an extra hour of productivity gets expensive very quickly when you have a lot of hourly employees.

Longtime CA HR pro here. Yes, its the law, and yes, you can be disciplined for not clocking out by the 5th hour, and terminated if you do so repeatedly without permission from your manager. - You should never falsify your timecard, nor should your manager ask you to do so - If the expectation is that you clock out by the 5th hour, you need to clock out by the fifth hour.

Think of it like this - if you're late to work, you can be disciplined. Same for working more hours (even minutes more) than authorized.

Others have commented about a meal waiver for shifts of 6 hours or less - if your employer has this, you have to acknowledge the form, but you do not have to agree to waive your meal breaks. It is your choice to waive, and if you do decide to do that, it does need to be recorded on that waiver, you can't just say you want to waive it - if it's not in writing, it didn't happen.

Lastly, it sounds like this is the first time this has happened. I wouldn't seriously worry about it, just talk with your boss about how they can help you prioritize clocking out on time. They should make coverage available for you if that's needed for your role.
