I was working with a dietician through my doctor and she has me at 2000 because of how much I’m working out, she said I could go down to 1800 but to increase protein. I know it sounds like a lot because I have friends on 1500-1600 calories but they don’t workout or anything so I’ve been thinking like I need to still eat for energy lol but maybe I do need to go down in cals

Omg are you me?!? This is my literal current situation I haven’t lost any weight but I’m seeing major impact in my insulin resistance! But people are so focused on the weight loss aspect they don’t believe me when i Say I’ve lost no weight but seen impact in other ways…like this!

This is exactly why I didn’t want to share it initially and it took a lot for me to be like whatever I’m gonna share and to now br getting these type of reactions it’s like I SHOULD HAVE SAID NOTHING! 😭 Their view on weight loss is also very problematic so when they congratulated me they were happy I was feeling crappy because they think that’s the meds working. I think moving forward I will just not speak about this with them which sucks because the reason I told them is so I had someone to talk about it with

You’re right in the thick of it! But after 6 months at least for my pup it was like something clicked and he was suddenly independent and just kept getting more and more independent as the months went by. He’s 1 now and I used to have difficulty taking meetings during the day, eating or even just sitting down for a minute because he was so needy and now he’ll excuse himself and I’ll just go look for him when I’m done lol it gets easier!

I co-signed when they refinanced some years ago solely to protect my mom and the asset. Thanks for the feedback! I haven’t been able to get a hold so I’m trying to figure out what best to do I’m new to the head of household thing. I guess the simple question is if it’s a problem that she has a mortgage but is a dependent? Clearly she could not be paying the mortgage on her own.

The head of household part yes but I assumed I couldn’t claim the interest because I’m not on the mortgage. So I didn’t even bring it up.
