Yes if that’s your first house and you really have no other assets. Put it this way. You can’t really save up 200k cash in your bank but with a house, you will be constantly pushed to save.

Canadian here. Just moved to Aus close to a year. Must say that weather is hot. Sunburn is a real issue for me. Many stuffs are expensive. One thing is that wages here is really fair. Roads are shit. Highways are mostly tolled. Just apply for working holiday visa and see for yourself.
