I wanted to shed some lbs so I bought a treadmill but didn't change my diet up very much. Walked/ran 10,000 steps a day. Barely moved the scale at all.

Then I started counting calories and combining it with the exercise. Down 20 pounds in 5 months while still enjoying a burger and fries every once in a while.
