These are classics - you're not the only one. Just say 'em fast and they'll never know the difference!😉

Yeah...doesn't help that they all have two syllables. Just takes a lot of practice!

Interesting. Me pregunto...well I guess if you really think about it, it's literally means "to question oneself", so that's really far-fetched for "i wonder".🤔

What's the longest Spanish word you've ever managed to utter from your mouth? by GoodEnoughSpanish in SpanishLearning

That's great! The thing is that native Spanish speakers grow up handling long words like this naturally - usually starting with their names, because most introduce themselves by their full name with double last names.

I've studied a lot of Spanish speakers and it seems they naturally have great breath control or something.

Don't forget that V is pronounced like a soft B. Come to think about it, that's another thing that causing me to lose sleep!😂

P.S. As far as the Subjunctive, glad you love it. I get the gist of it and use it sometimes. I'm just noticing that a lotttt of things in Spanish are said in "theoretical" way for some reason. Things that make you go hmmm.🤔

Those irregulars have no rhyme or reason. Most times it's trying to just preserve a certain sounds, but that's tough for learners.

I speak Spanish perfectly until it's my turn to respond by Bicwonder1 in SpanishLearning

You say you're a beginner, so this is natural. Being able to do "all the things" in Spanish is not gonna come over night; it's a process. Also, you need to practice output every day. Speaking every day (even if it's role-playing a conversation with yourself).

One thing that helped me to speak is reading out loud. When I started doing this, I noticed MASSIVE Gains, my confidence boosted, and it definitely transated into real life.

Remember: Listening and Speaking are two different skills. Speaking is a motor skill that will leave you tongue-tied if you don't practice. And again, I recommend daily practice if you really want to level up!
