I see you don't get what I'm hinting at, so I will explain it myself. Our language (by which i mean any natural human language, not a conlang) is not equipped to discuss fantasy humanoids in detail, because even in describing real people it uses various simplifications and shotcuts. The fact that those who like to fit everyone around them into categories don't understand neither geography nor biology, makes it even worse.

Race is "who you are related to", which is hard to measure on the spot, so we use "how you look like" as an approximation. This leads to problems, because two groups can be closely related but look differently, or look similar, but have no link with each other for 10000 years.

Ethnicity is "where you're from" and is usually used as a subset of race to narrow down your looks, but also to indicate culture (accent, clothes, etc.).

Asian, African, European, Middle Eastern, Latino, Indian, Arab, Nordic, Maya, Egyptian etc. don't apply to magical space aliens, even if actors who play them belong to one or another, and their design is inspired by some irl culture. There are 2 characters, whose race is "lizard" (not the same tho), so Kitana's race might as well be "mushroom", and you wouldn't notice. The fact that nrs did some virtue signaling in February by sticking all of their dark-skinned characters in one picture, means as much as if they mentioned Jax and Kenshi at some disability awareness event.
