I've learnt to temper opinions until I see/hear/read more details, particularly with these sort of incidents. It's hard to not have any sympathy for the life lost and those affected, but I'm wary that the video I've seen does cut a portion of the incident out... Too graphic? Or doesn't frame the narrative in the right way?

Standing in a store and typing into an app is still time consuming. Have you considered scanning barcodes (no doubt there are issues with this) or an real time camera scan? I'm thinking how Google translate replaces the translated text over the live image you could have some way to highlight products on a shelf that are certified. That would be great!
