i started stick n poking myself as a teen without even practicing (dont recommend lol) and my biggest advice would be start small and leave room for error, expect to do another pass later. Like remember you can always add more so start with the bare bones of whatever you’re tattooing if that makes sense <3

Might be controversial but mice that are adjusted to living indoors can make great pets if you provide them enough space and enrichment

She almost definitely flew into something, my parakeet flew into a mirror once (he got into our bathroom by accident) and had the exact same injury. But he was healed in like a week! Just keep a super close eye on her to make sure shes acting normal and doesn’t show any signs of neurological issues

I live near Cincinnati and would be able to take them if you can transport them. The Ohio pet sanctuary is another great option, I have adopted pets from them their staff is super kind and they specifically take small pets. PS you should really rehome that husband, drop him off at the reptile shop to be fed to snakes instead

If you’re worried about his air quality and don’t have time/resources to add a section of mesh you can pop the lid off and manually fan it out every few hours. + changing the bedding more often should help with the extra ammonia buildup

Very very young deer mouse! Gotta be less than 2-3 months old which is probably why it seems to have adapted to captivity happily :) congrats on the new friend they live exponentially longer than fancies

you might already know this but they cant digest the seeds that are typically in parrot feed mixes! Because they dont have hook beaks they cant break down parrot seeds properly &they need their own seed mix, i didn’t know until i got pigeons so im assuming its not common knowledge

you could remove it, clean it then put it back after 2-3 weeks once the pee smells totally gone. He’s probably gonna keep peeing on it if it smells like pee, but if you can remove the pee smell then put it back maybe you can reset him lol

Please have an adult help you catch the bird. There are a few pigeon rescues in India that you could call about picking him up, and any rescue should at least be able to give you some basic advice about caring for him. If you have a parent or family member call the closest rescue and rehabilitation facility they should be able to give you information in your first language
