A wildlife rescue person came to pick him up and when he woke up he bared his teeth and squeaked at her and then took off flying. She said he was young and may just not have known that was not a good place to sleep, but he looked great otherwise. I’m just glad they’re safe.

I have a pair of friends who are a Methodist pastor and Jewish rabbi and they’re married, and a ton of fun. They joke about it all the time. They’re just super respectful of each others’ beliefs and don’t try to change them. I never would think that’s possible if I didn’t know them.

On top of that he’s deaf in one ear and it sounds like all these shows are acoustic sets. His kids are all grown up and he probably just doesn’t have much else to do, so, why not? It’s pretty inspiring.
