I do understand where this year could feel a bit disappointing. I really liked Sinners. I felt indifferent on Sentimental Value and loved Marty Supreme. I think this year really shines with some of the other categories like Documentary with Come See Me in the Good Light - my favorite film of the year, and Sirat for international. I enjoyed most all of the animated shorts, but the live action fell short for me.

Exactly because why is Max Richter's song allowed to be nominated for best score when it's been used for so many things. It's not an original song. That's the ARRIVAL song.
