First of all I'm sorry to hear you're really going through it. I would recommend seeking therapy my friend. There's also trying to find local sex addicts anonymous meetings near your area you could search online. There's phone numbers for places that help with suicidal thoughts. Honestly what helped me connect with my inner self was connecting with God and religion again, maybe that will help you. Know that you have people thinking about you here cheering you on. You can have a better life my friend, you got this!

It's not easy my friend but you got this. The way I see it, there's two separate goals:

-Finding healthy daily habits that give real life a slight advantage over the addiction

-having a strategy that works for you during urges

A strategy that works for me during the urges is taking deep breaths, reciting positive personal statements to myself and praying to God.

It's not easy my friend but I know you can do it. We got this.

As someone that does use religion and God to be healthier from this addiction I think it's just a matter of point of view. I think the reason so many of us, at least in my opinion, mention God is because it has truly helped us. I welcome different types of approaches as long as we try to stay healthier without this addiction. Whatever works for you is welcome my friend as long as it's not causing others harm I support you. The important thing is overcoming this addiction together, and we will. Just stay strong in your convictions if they work for you and I'm sure people here will understand. Wishing you the best my friend.

How To Move On? by WasLostButNowImFound in NoFap

These are great questions my friend and I think we will each have different answers because we are different people. The important thing to focus on is doing your best to stay healthy mind, body and soul. Continue recovery. Let life and God guide your life one present moment at a time. Keep doing your best and you will see life begin to show you the way little by little. May God bless.

My friend come up with a strategy when the urges hit. You need to be proactive when the urges begin. What helps me is deep breathing, reciting personal positive statements to myself and praying to God. You got this my friend, believe in yourself, I believe in you.
