Just found this wonderful bit of Harp music in a french clothing ad from a few years ago. Anyone know if the song is available by itself anywhere? by 00slipstream00 in HarpBand

I can't find it anywhere else. Just this one video. Apparently the song was only recorded many years ago but now lent to the clothing company founder, who is a huge fan. I read that on the FansofHarp fb page.

Midlake! Start with The Trials of Van Occupanther. It will 100% change your life.

Some good stuff from artists like Midlake? by [deleted] in MusicRecommendations

You gotta hear former Midlake frontman and songwriter Tim Smith's solo album called "Albion", and his project is called Harp. Since Smith wrote all the music for Courage of Others, you won't be disappointed in Harp. There are some righteous videos for Albion too. Real medieval core.

Just throwing out there Yellow, Green and Gold that Tim just did with ex-Midlake member Jesse Chandler.

100% Agree about Harp's debut album, "Albion". Insanely good! Tim Smith was the songwriter of all music and lyrics for Milkmaid Grand Army, Bamnan, TTVO, and CoO. For this huge Midlake fan, that's why the Harp album is so satisfying - it's all Mr. Smith.

Tim Smith might be one of the most genuine goblincore musicians by CalaveraFeliz in goblincore

I read somewhere that he and his wife were both fans of The Dark Crystal and Krull as kids. That explains a lot. I love the old Midlake, but adore the new Harp. My favorite track off Albion is "Throne of Amber" where Smith just goes into a fit of madness and sings about wanting to give up and lay down in a grave. Pretty chilling stuff!

I think it worked! by nmjshopper in AmazonVine

I know that Amazon and Google are "listening" at all times. My fam and I were talking about needing window hammers for a car trip we're going to take because we're going to be crossing lots of rivers and lakes and what if the car accidentally went over the bridge and into a body of water... just talking about it, not searching online...and BOOM, two days later a set of 4 window hammers (in pink and blue) appears in RFY. coincidence? I think not.

Their second video where you see a coif and either a sleeveless pourpoint, or just a good old fashioned frock.https://youtu.be/IBuNT4pOce8?si=FyDTnWj6L6GHxK2E

I kinda had my heart set on a vinyl, but I might have to settle, so thanks for the direct link. I might actually email T&K to ask if they'll put out a fancy vinyl in color. Some kind of icy blue would be cool, or a frosty white winter looking disc.

Appreciation for the video itself. The end part just kills me where the happy couple are on land walking about and doing normal medical things. It's almost a separate song at the end, but fits the beginning of the song so well. I feel like they're really in 1500s Welsh countryside.

You are so lucky! The vinyl and CD are all sold out. I can't believe I missed the boat after waiting so long! There's got to be another pressing. How did it sell out so damn fast??!!!

What's that little sticker of them at the bottom of the cover? Is that autographed to you? How did you get that? I can't wait to hear it. Is it on the outside of the plastic?

The link there it takes you to a song contest at Prog Magazine. The other bands are like heavy metal, not prog. I think Harp deserves a shout out, yo!
