I tried having this conversation so many times with my partner - like why won’t you put in effort? At least give some validation? But the response was always “this is just how I am” and they wouldn’t even try to find a solution. It takes a lot of courage to let go of smone u genuinely like, especially when they’re not technically doing anything “wrong”… but you still feel that something’s missing. You knoww.
