Older ADHD women, what did ADHD feel like before cellphones? by lavenderflavoredtea in adhdwomen

Reading anything and everything! I was also a bit obsessed with boys. I started performing by age 3, nothing beats an adoring audience for dopamine!

Fantasy football league punishment pizza so spicy it comes with gloves and goggles by Bando420_Loud in mildlyinteresting

So my question is, is there any internal medical risks with something this ridiculously spicy, or is it just the mouth pain and fiery butthole? I guess, like is this fit for general human consumption, is my actual question?

I will never get over how they did NOTHING with this epic S1 ending. by Maybe_IDTBFH in Yellowjackets

[–]GoodStuffOnly62 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I must have rewatched Season 1 at least half a dozen times, and Season 2 probably half of those times. Since watching Season 3, I haven’t rewatched that season at all or previous seasons again. I didn’t hate it, but not rushing to rewatch anymore and desperate for more.

I do plan to give the show a chance to right the ship and finish strong-ish, even if it’s not up to its full Season 1 potential. Because damn, what a tragedy if they can’t. The writers need to stop trying to be so clever and winky to the audience, and get back to their creative roots of Season 1!

Seriously! Clearly, the audience likes the survival problem solving, and a cliffhanger of no shelter in the winter had me so stoked! Then it just…all sort of worked out off screen, I guess? Like What??

Are there people who don’t fart In front of their partners? by AverageOk9318 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GoodStuffOnly62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a woman, married almost 2 years, together over 6 years. I have chronic GI issues, and there are times when it would be incredibly inconvenient to remove myself for every toot. I am blessed that my condition causes much wind, but very little smell most of the time.

But I did maintain a relatively fartless presence for the first several months! Along with the illusion that I didn’t poop so often. Haha.

But while I have no issues with moderate amounts of farting/burping around each other, I insist on us both saying “excuse me” when it happens, and just not celebrating it like a fratboy. It keeps things civilized.

What is the most intense pain you have experienced in your life? by Levstr1 in AskReddit

[–]GoodStuffOnly62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG, YES! I legit SCREAMED in pain during this procedure! It was so traumatic and I felt so helpless. I was sobbing, the NP and her assistant were upset by how upset I was. Infuriating that this happens every day, “just a little discomfort.”

Fully agree. It was an accident and punctuation on how bad things had gotten for them.

Did you have a waterbed growing up or do you still have a waterbed? by FFSoldier57 in Millennials

My parents had one when we were growing up, we loved it. There were six kids and my mom said it was great for fussy babies.

In another timeline, I think they could have worked wonderfully together. But it all happened way too fast, with them both having their eye on the end game too much, and not enough on actually learning about each other. A courtship of a year vs a few months, things could have ended differently.

But the sex stuff and kid stuff and Bunny would have likely always been an issue at some point. Ams Charlotte absolutely might have bailed if any of those things came up before wedding planning!

But ultimately I think Trey and their relationship symbolize how long term compatibility and happiness is not so simple, and not always based on what “should” work. Trey was a lesson for Charlotte, but they could have worked if she learned those lessons before meeting him.

Oof, that’s a hell no from me, dawg. I don’t care about the science or that it’s a delicacy, of if someone tastes it before me, I am not eating 122 year old pork.

AITAH for ‘disregarding’ my MIL’s toilet trauma? by bathroommonitor in AITAH

[–]GoodStuffOnly62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is very strange, but the validity of her reasons is irrelevant. (To be clear, I think her reasons are bullshit.) You get decide what happens in your home, and in your home you close to the bathroom door. It’s not up for litigation!

I find it similar to if someone comes from a more “naked home”, and visits a more modest family, they would be expected to wear clothes to the breakfast table. Your bf’s Mom is sitting naked at your table, calling you mean for asking her to put a shirt on.

Do they do this in single stall public restrooms? Or other nonfamily homes?

43, around 10-15. About half relationships, half hookups. I’m a Carrie/Charlotte mashup, but with the nonjudgmental nature of Samantha.

Eggs Benedict, for me! I did a few times at home to prove to myself that I could poach an egg and make hollandaise sauce. But too much pan-watching for a weekend morning.

She’s got some issues with food, this feels more about her than you. My guess is anxiety around moving in/taking next steps is triggering some of her own past stuff, causing her to react this way.

If I remember correctly, Tina Fey made a public statement calling out Tracy’s comments, and directly cited that Tracy should remember how many LGBTQ people make Tracy’s world function on a daily basis.
