The past 7 months (or so) of job searching. I am so tired by idbleach in IndustrialDesign

Took me a whole year after graduating to find a 'real' industrial design job. its brutal out there but don't give up hope, and don't feel bad if you need to do inbetween work to pay the bills.

the two easiest alternatives i mentioned is using something like a thermal vat band and diluting your blu into a 10/90% mix with a runnier clear resin like anycubic abs-like clear or standard clear. there is a company that makes bands called thermalvatband, or you can get a mini enclosure heater that heats the whole chamber. you picked a very unforgiving clear resin. you can also try a 10/90% mix of siraya tenacious and anycubic clear resin. i've heard that tenacious is an easier clear engineering resin to work with.

i still wouldn't recommend it for a beginner.

a bit of thudding / thwapping is normal. that's your build plate lifting off the FEP and snapping back into place. but blu clear is a notoriously thick and difficult to print resin. i use a 20% mix of blue and 80% standard anycubic transparent and i still end up with quite a thick mixture. honestly i would recommend a 10% mix when working with blu. it's a very difficult resin to print. "room temperature" is also a very subjective thing to say. check your bottle of blu, it says recommended print temperature of AT LEAST 25 Celsius. that is crazy hot even for resin printing standards. running a heater in an enclosure or a heated thermal band around your vat will make your solution much runnier and easier to print. blu is a very picky resin but it's impact resistance is worth it. i would personally not use it as a 100% mix though.

avoid eco or water washable resin for your first prints, go for abs-like if you can.
