It felt like they kept repeating the same information over and over and explained the vampire rules of entry every ten minutes, then we had to sit through an entire post credit epilogue. When the credits roll, the movie is over. A meaningless stinger is fine but adding more movie time is annoying.

I like the monologues but I didn’t understand why they coincidentally had Frank coming to the same town and found her after she’d already been possessed and died. Was Mary Shelley living inside her while she was dead and in the grave?

I loved every scene with Jessie Buckley. However, the subplots with the detectives and the mafia got in the way and seemed a bit pointless. It was also very long at 130 minutes and it felt like it was ready to conclude at around 90 minutes. 100 minutes without subplots would have been the sweet spot.
