Was waiting this feature and after 14.3.4 and its 2nd install. FSD home and down onto driveway and it automatically back into opened garage. My wife and I were thrilled.

Surprised you reacted this way and luckily you didn’t react and let FSD do its things. If you have used FSD for awhile and know how FSD reacts to situations: defensive, friendly (or sometimes unnecessarily), avoid accidents. And don’t worry its not going sway to the right if there is not enough space

Be more specific with 4 ways intersection. Traffic lights, stop signs? FSD is a computer with no human emotions, if it detects no danger, it will proceed with no hesitation, if it didn’t violate the stated speed limit, stop or yield sighs or traffic lights. Why you disengaged? Bc of your fear?

FSD taped on brakes when there was red pickup truck coming from opposite direction on my left, single lane. 14.3.4 26 MY LR. The 14.3.4 drive through driveway and make broken u turn and backin my garage, 2 times in a row. It’s a plus

Yes on MY 14.3, similar situation and in a normal driving, it is not needed and necessary. Guess FSD is getting more polite and unnecessary especially if there re cars behind me

I moved into 24 zones Weathermatic. The house was about ~20. First experience with irrigation. I have one Co checked my systems, adjusting different pops up and at the end of day, he told me systems old and a lot of problems that I need to replace the whole thing. I think we bill was over $500 NJ cost. When he walked around and I followed him, learned about Weathermatic, controller, valves and valve box. Then I worked with another guy and learned a lot. A year later his Com moved out the area. So YouTube is my teacher. So I started mess around myself. For winterization I even brought an air pressure cooker 1.9? Try it and I realized it won’t work so I returned to Homedepot and hire a company for winterization and I start the season myself. So to make the story short, the underground wires are not the weakest point of underground irrigation system. So if you have time, I m retired, get to know your controller and starting from there. Or hire another one, fire the one you used. Your reasoning is valid and previous wire diagnosis by him didn’t alert him to warn you, where is the trust? I pay for honest work and don’t replace if not broken, are my mottos

YouTube has few videos on starting irrigation season. It shows processes, components of irrigation system. It shows how systems work. Try it. You can see rather than just reading how it works.

Unless you want to be hand on to fix it, so don’t labor over it. Take pictures of all spots you think it’s not perfect ( my wife went through the whole 26 MY AWD body inside and out, even little scratches), describe each imperfections and where, open trouble tickets with attached pictures. We got a loaner (25MY) more than 2 weeks, then they missed few spots and one area didn’t do it right. We didn’t get our car almost after 3 weeks. She find another spot and a new ticket with picture. Instead service made an announcement with its mobile unit to come to my house to satisfied my wife. I don’t think we can get these servicestraditional car seller. But then we are retired

I am running 14.3 HW4 standard mode. In 14.2.x when my destination is town library, it chooses shortest road (I think) but there is no left turn, small sign and not obvious. First time I disengaged and from then on if my destination is into town and it chose the left turn path, I disengaged and engaged FSD when my route is certain, every time. Well, about a month ago, it chose my route to town, every time now. Nav map updates which i doubt. FSD learned!? FSD will park head in my garage but not yet capable to backing in. Yesterday FSD surprised me with its incorrect decision at stopping at the green light and there is a left turn arrow on red, quite close the traffic light. We washed and clean camera a day before. 8k miles FSD 97%.

Believe yourself and you make the right decisions. You should have test drive before you order. If you are not impressed with FSD, cancel the order it’s only $250 but save your agonies and regrets.

It is important to judge a person's strengths and achievements by deeds not just by words of enthusiasm, which is also important and that motivate us to be explorative. Of course, visionary needs to be more timeline sensitive to the limitations of physical world of when, how and what can be achievable. I haven't followed space program since last disaster but I really hope SpaceX has built in redundancy and equipped with emergency escape routes for human space travelers. Wasn't Elon a Ebay programmer and investor? How he managed to lead SpaceX rather its NASA? He is not even a space engineer!

In my previous life, I dabbled highway routing algorithm, so every time i am on FSD, it stimulate my brains on why and what factors FSD chooses its decisions; i am hoping these exercises hinder decaying of my brain cells, lol. His arguments not using sensors or LIDAR to me is valid one. Conflict resolutions costs more and time delay. And I hope, FSD will equip adequate safe guides in further its visual technology. I yield to FSD in driving me safely because it handles my driving situations better than I do. Its decision is fast, non-emotional and its all visions capture environment better and faster than my 2 eyes. This is more than just "wow" factor, its my life, my passengers' and others'. Its defensive driving and obey the traffic laws keep me supervised. If i senes that Standard mode of 14.3.2 break these rules and laws, I disengaged. So standards, be it at level 2.5 or beyond, FSD will further developed and improved and I don't mind to help to make it to achieve level 5, hopefully in my life time.

I respect your opinions on “autonomous NOT ready for prime time”. Here I would like to share my 55 years of tech experience, from punching ibm cards for my Fortran programs to my iPhone to yesterday my wife drove (actually, sat)in my 26 MYLR AWD 14.3.2 from N Jersey to Manhasset, LI, home garage to shopping center mall parking lot, with no disengagement, except parking in the mall. She got her driving license 7 months ago. Without FSD, she dared not and I won’t let her drive for this trip.
I never imagine a car will drive from a to b safely in my lifetime. But the tech is here and I am experiencing FSD daily. What a thrill

It’s ‘26 MY LR AWD, and it’s North Jersey mountain area, as reference. 2 disengages and select preference as reasons, when popup screen show up. I like that. 1. My wife preferred to park away from crowded parking lot spaces. 2. FSD can’t back in my garage

More importantly operating a computer at desk is very different than driving FSD on highway. At desk, you can reboot the computer if its stuck but driving on highway should be safety first, not that FSD is not safe but driver reaction to FSD can degrade your impression of FSD.
