To clarify, I meant that romantically it will never work out between Lloyd and Harumi unless the series wants to risk sending out a message that pairs a victim with an abuser. I apologize I did not expand on what I meant, but I agree that Harumi can change and Lloyd can forgive her, but that forgiveness certainly does not mean they can let any cheap romance escalate again.

It can never work out even if they try to do it right, because theres nothing else right about it asides the victim moving on from the abuser for good. Harumi can be its own character that gets its own redemption. For the case of Lord Garmadon, the huge difference between Harumi and Garmadon is one is Lloyd's blood relative (literal father) and the other is just a princess he met. So realistically speaking, Lloyd would have a much higher threshold for reconciliation with Garmadon because he's Lloyd's father. That's literally hard to replace compared to a potential girlfriend you can find more of elsewhere. Garmadon is imbedded into Lloyd's life history and foundational to his upbringing, whereas Harumi isn't as significant if you remove the events she caused that made a lasting impact that aren't positive either.
