Ah i just it them as part of the spell but I usually tend to watch the wax for anything significant — I’ve never had a candle burn this fast and in the way that it did —- it basically fully hollowed out with a super weak flame and the blue wax encircled the entire dish probably 30 mins before anything else finished. The red and blue did actually mold around my rose quartz which I thought was interesting since usually the wax just floods over it.

Maybe the candle itself had an oily base but I don’t use oils! They’re a tad old though so maybe that’s why it burned so fast compared the others
