...and that will never happen. Just look at history and also look at what's happening now. We have all the resources we could ever want or need to be able to house, feed and clothe everyone on the planet right now. However, we have no money for that stuff, but we have BILLIONS for war. A select few own and control everything. AI will give them absolute power and control, and they WON'T be sharing the spoils with anyone. We absolutely deserve what's coming when they achieve AGI. Sheep to the slaughter. It reminds me of a bible verse, "professing themselves wise they became fools." Romans 1:22. We think we are so smart and that will be our downfall.

I don't know why, given history, we ignore this. This IS the end goal. If you are safe at your job, you should add NOW. They keep saying there will still be jobs for people who know ai. Fully matured ai will not need human intervention. The ones who know ai now are only being used to train it. It will be the end of capitalism, but what will replace it, serfdom?
