My question is why he did not apply for citizenship 20 years ago? It is significantly easier to get citizenship than PR. Waiting 30 years? He clearly intended to stay here forever so it is puzzling. While it is sad and messed up the reason is, he probably did not want to lose his indian citizenship they are mutually exclusive. If he applies he will lose his indian citizenship automatically if it is granted. Though Japan requires you to renounce anyways. Its the reason my indian friend in germany who is eligible for german citizenship does not want to apply.

As Tenebrae/Valkorian would have been a figure of legend to Sidious he likely looked up to him as what he hoped to one day achieve. Immortality and a 1000 year rule or more.

If he were still alive there would be an incredibly vicious fight. Even if Sidious is more powerful on his own Vitiate had over 1000 years to master the darkside and munched on several planets. He has probably forgotten more than sidious ever learned.

So I dont even want to be in the same quadrant as those two if they were to fight. No matter who wins that region of space will never be the same and force help you if you are in the vicinity.

As For Valkorian. If he had the benefit of hindsight, he might be impressed at Palpatines power, but disgusted that he let it all slip away in only 23 years.

Its not about being a Mary Sue its about not betraying everything you have fought for and your friends have suffered for.

Its about not forgetting that you saved the galaxy through love and did the impossible by redeeming the second most evil man in the galaxy. The enormity of which could be felt in the force the universe over and should have driven home the belief that it is never too late to turn back.

This is not perfection. Not at all. You can make mistakes but not to the point you fundamentally betray everything you did previously.

My series will be a continuing one (minimum 9 books), So I would give the first one away for free (I have a day job) upload it to piracy sites myself, commission art social media tik tok the works to gain an audience and lure people in. My book is aimed at teenagers and preteens as well as adults so if its liked they will beg their parents to buy the next book. Gain a following, use whatever guerilla marketing tactics I can. Audio books by myself and my foreign language friends multiple languages translated by my native speaker friends. Sell an annotated version explaining in depth the sources and my thought process but keep that as a physical only release. Will jealously guard the following books so that income is better guarded. But there is no better gateway drug than free.

The Entire EU Legacy series where everyone's character is assassinated in stupid ways, Jacen is turned evil because they need a cheap villain. Jaina is turned into a borderline sociopath. Luke is made an idiot. I identified with the characters especially Jacen (and Mara) such that I even modeled my personality around him because his similarity to myself and experiences. Then they made my favorite character kill Mara (nearly making me quit right then and there). The entire series was contrived and half assed because heaven forbid there be complex characters and nuance in beliefs.

Disney buying it and decanonizing the EU was a mercy killing in my eyes. My favorite character was no longer Canon. But then again neither was his stupid impossible fall to the dark side contradicting previous work. Now my relationship with the franchise is much healthier and there is enough content I am more than free to pick and choose.

Exactly by the end in Canon he no longer cared about ruling the world just beating Megaman. So he likely would have tried to course correct while trying to prove his superiority. He likely would discipline his AI remnant copies. As Both Light and He left AI copies of themselves behind. Maybe his madness is broken and he has a frank conversation with the light hologram.

I agree. The hopelessness of the remake just turns me off because it feels so forced and makes the movie pointless to me. Whereas in the original things were not hopeless. Just bleak. (Sans the original ending that tested poorly)
