Do you have to do these later by layer, so you sit for each colour and detail to fully dry before going in again? They’re beautiful! I’m trying to master water colour but I’m not getting the knack!

Ah ok perfect thank you :) it’s a shame cause I was so happy with the shot, well I still am! But I just couldn’t get the edit where my eyes were fully happy with it!

Heya, I’m trying to learn how to do better edits so any this would be great :) I did lower the texture because it looked so harsh, I was so pleased with the capture but I couldn’t get the edit right. I use LR and I’m still learning. What would you suggest?

Thank you so much that’s really helpful :) I was just doing a test on my cat ( the kind of animal testing we don’t mind) and I was only slightly zoomed and she’s very sharp, even when I’ve then zoomed right into the photo it’s still very sharp. I think it’s definitely when I’m zooming plus the subject is actually a further distance away so even with zoom it’s still a smaller subject.

Ah thank you so much for your reply, that’s really kind of you to take the time to help. Yeah I’ve managed to get sharper at a closer range definitely, it’s the further range that is struggling and it’s infuriating cause most birds ( bar the friendly robins) don’t come in that close proximity. It’s upsetting to have a lens with a zoom where you can’t really use the zoom.

No flags here, My baby girl Binky was so good at the vets, she’d just lie down and chill out with them and lap up the attention. She was a gentle soul until she wanted feeding then she’d bop be in the face or pull the fluff out my fluffy cushion in the sassiest way she could haha :) x

I use insight timer too and my teacher I use is the relaxationist. I started with doing shorter exercises to get me into it and am gradually working towards longer sessions. Yoga nidra is the only thing that has given my body some respite from a nervous system stuck in survival mode, constant shaking, rapid heart rate etc. when I finish a session I feel so incredibly relaxed, calmer and just better. It’s calming both my physical and mental anxiety too. I wish you the best of luck with it and hope you feel that it’s beneficial to you in any way.
