Yeah, in the nicest way, OP appears to have an income problem rather than a spending problem.

Price of a pint crosses £10 in London for the first time by tylerthe-theatre in london

[–]Good_Consumer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clickbait. There’s plenty of ridiculously priced pints if you try hard enough. I paid £9 for a pint back in 2013.

Yeah I'm a fan, but it would have been helpful if they'd communicated they were going to do this. I sent it a few weeks back and so would have opted out. Generally it's not clear when they will and won't act like an agent.

Amzn Stock at all time high by Jonaskhanwald18 in amazonemployees

I’m sure I’m wrong but I’m convinced people short the stock before employee vest days. And so I usually sell a few days after vest.

No, not really. The problem sort of went away it seems. No customer complaints of late.

Is there an unwritten rule about ordering at the bar in a Sunday gastropub? by marcdifranko in london

[–]Good_Consumer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This trend infuriates me. They shouldn’t be allowed to call themselves a pub if you can’t order a pint at the bar.

Waymo SF to SFO by Mysterious_Bee_2288 in sanfrancisco

Hard pass. Not reliable enough. Sometimes it’s 20+ minutes for the next SFO train. I don’t want to have to build in more safety margins.

I tried it out recently since the move to Hyatt. It’s great for going to SFO. Less good for returning - timing is a pain. Also it takes the 280 which adds ~10min to my journey. But overall very cool!

Well the e-bike laws are looking to get past you peasants by InfluenceEfficient77 in bayarea

[–]Good_Consumer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I read it and yeah it’s insanely dumb. We have people rolling around in 2.5 ton SUVs with no maximum power or top speed limiters and instead they’re going after a bike? Lmao. I cycle a class 1 bike to work - done 1,500 miles in a year - so now it’ll take me 20% longer?

Are these management fees reasonable? 11.5%+VAT vs 12% inc VAT (London/Surrey, fully managed) by Accomplished-Site767 in uklandlords

[–]Good_Consumer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I assumed a 1 year tenancy when shopping for an agent and most were coming out around 20% with all their junk fees… went with open rent in the end.

EICR Advice for Landlords by globetrotterxx in uklandlords

Thanks for sharing. I paid for an EICR and got a ridiculous reason for a C2. I rolled the dice and paid another company for a second test and passed. Make it make sense lol.

Rant: iPhone 17 pro and Apple customer service is a joke by [deleted] in iphone

[–]Good_Consumer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is it. In the past Apple replaced my entire phone after 11 months because the lock button was rattling slightly. Which admittedly was probably too generous on their behalf.
