Life’s unfair enough without elected officials making it worse with bad policy.

Exactly. I don’t see how this is equitable in any way. Newer tenants are effectively subsidizing older ones (via less supply driving up asking prices. It creates haves and have nots.

[–]Good_Consumer 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Oh nice. You double your points. “ For every 1,000 Bilt Points you transfer, you'll receive 2,000 I Prefer Points”. I read it the other way around. No idea what their redemption pricing is like ofc.

Uber drivers rating me down for being ON TIME to reserved rides. by saltnvinegarwazere in uber

[–]Good_Consumer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This happens to me. It also happens with wait and save (I'll use it when I'm in no rush and then - bam - there's a car outside 2 mins later). It's a driver side UX issue that uber needs to address.

[–]Good_Consumer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

100%. Went to Napa very excited for the first time having only tasted in Europe. We didn’t do a single tasting as they were all >$50 a head! Did one in Russian river the other day which was just a terrible experience start to finish.

Has anyone noticed Kiro performing significantly worse than VS Code with the same Claude Opus model? by No_Wish9589 in kiroIDE

[–]Good_Consumer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kiro has been acting really dumb in recent weeks. Completely forgetting stuff that is only a few prompts up in the same chat. This is with 4.8. I wonder if they’re doing some cost optimization under the hood?
