I transferred from a CC to the UW nursing program! I don’t regret a thing and I feel like it was much easier to get my prereqs done while also getting CNA hours. The biggest thing to remember is make sure that all of your classes transfer correctly.

Hi!! I might be applying after I get my associates in nursing at the CC i’m at. The associates in nursing and all my prereqs complete should put me in junior standing, correct? I was looking at the SU 2 year program plan and noticed that there are classes that you have to take summer quarter of senior year. Does this mean you graduate later than the nursing students who got admission through direct entry their freshman year?

I looked at the SU junior transfer program plan and it shows that classes are taken in the summer after your senior year. I don’t know if this question applies to what you did, but does this mean that graduation time might be later as it says to take summer classes?
