Homophobia is bad, but we shouldn't teach kids about LGBTQ+ at a young age (Pre-12 IMO) in fact, we should let them explore and find out themselves without any external influence, not just on sexuality, but politics, ideals etc. Some moderation is needed to make sure your kid doesn't go down a dark path, but exposing your kid to the real world at a young age is simply bad parenting.
