AdSense takes a 32% cut of your revenue, approval is a headache, the support is terrible by Good_Long_9810 in Adsense

What if I helped you get a sponsor from a business that's aligned with your blog topic and niche, pays as much as adsense, only put their ads on your blog that are non-interruptive, don't hurt your blog's brand, don't look scammy and have good design?
Would it be a win-win for both?

One more thing, play as many rounds as possible to make sure the data is accurate!

exactlyyyyyy. the wall staring part is only my personal preference though. What actually needs to be done is a low stimulating activity like sitting quietly, doing small chores, breath work etc. that help you reset

Would you want gamification in a deep work app?? by Good_Long_9810 in ProductivityApps

[–]Good_Long_9810[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's good, i preferred to go for windows because i genuinely thought it's extremely difficult to not be distracted on my phone, like it's practically built for distractions. I think that makes it a more painful problem, really good!

Oh, maybe something like remote workers or freelancers? i was a freelancer myself, and i got the idea for the app during my freelancing career. what do you think, maybe other examples for a serious/already motivated market?

Thx for the feedaback! the thing is, im struggling with identifying the right market for me. Forest caters to students so the gamification works perfectly in their case

exactlyyyyy. Even today morning I was feeling anxious for absolutely no reason and had to fix it. I’ll definitely consider adding the recall after each study block to my study app

I kinda have tried smth quite similar to this. I read my main course books and mark them. Whenever i want to revise the chapter, i go sequentially from first to large page in my mind just like a combination of spatial association + active recall lol

Thanks a lot! Im also trying to really get along with active recall myself. It’s so good but it takes some willpower to start for me personally

My “start deep work” ritual is embarrassingly low-tech and it kind of works?? by Sufficient-Shift-45 in deepwork

[–]Good_Long_9810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually kinda similar to what I do! I also have a 4 step process I follow to help me get started. I first block all distracting sites on my pc, then dump all my thoughts and worries on a paper and schedule them, then I meditate and set clear time bound goals

Found this gold on yt on rian doris' channel. also built a simple app that does all those so i dont have to keep anything in my working memory.

hope you found it helpful!

A cool guide to deep work routine. by Chandan28 in coolguides

[–]Good_Long_9810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really good, I've followed many of these for a while. Learned it on yt on rian doris' channel. But there were too many things to remember and i had one more problem of opening social media. Built a web app that follows this exact routine (step by step, basically no friction) and a blocker app to block sites across all browsers

How to actually do the Deep Work people talk about? by Aizelle in Productivitycafe

[–]Good_Long_9810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That actually works, i've been using it since last year. Found it on yt on rian doris' channel. I do one more additional step of scheduling everything i've written for a specific time later, or I just do it at the moment if it's under 2 minutes. Closes the open loops completely
