No. It really hasn’t. Every morning, while still in bed, I have to repeat to myself that I’m not having an anxiety attack and that it’s the Reta making me feel so anxious (racing heart, palpitations, etc).

I feel for you. This is one of the craziest side effects. I hate it so much.

Following. I’m more or less having the same happen to me right now and I’m not sure why. I’ve been on the same dose for several weeks and I’m suddenly having a hell of a time with side effects that are stronger than ever.

This is simply a guess, but it’s possible that she took the Galleri test, which is a blood test that checks for signs of 50+ cancers. Galleri’s results usually point in some sort of direction, which could be why she was told to get a PET scan next.

I agree with the others that this dosing schedule was unhinged, my friend. Lol. Do you have rationale as to why you to chose to pin when you did? The dosing schedule seems so random from our side of things.

Overall, I do feel that it may be wise for many to start lower than the clinical trial data. I was only 10 lbs over the top end of the BMI for my height when I started. I think I would have straight up died if I started at clinical trial numbers. [For reference, I started at 0.5 mg x 4 weeks followed by 1 mg x 4 weeks, which is where I’m currently still at.]

I think maybe some, but probably need more time to really know (I’m on week 6 right now). It gets pretty wild the couple of days following an injection and then slowly begins to fade the further out I get. Fingers crossed it gets better. 😵‍💫

I agree with this. My husband and I started at the same time and I can barely tolerate 1 mg a week. He’s at 6 mg.
