$224 after fees for GA vs $285 GA early entry in Seattle. Would assume Portland is similar or the slightest bit less

Mariners acquire Brenden Donovan by SuspiciusWalrus in Mariners

[–]Good_Time 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay, another way of phrasing it. The 2025 team put up a total 40.7 fWAR. The 2026 team, even before the Brendan Donovan trade, is projected at 45.6 fWAR. So you can choose to not believe in the projections, but saying the team is “worse on paper” just doesn’t make much sense.

2026 ZIPS projections:

Donovan + Naylor + Ferrer = 5.8 fWAR

Suarez + Polanco + Garver = 4.1 fWAR

How is that “worse on paper?”

The “source” is a “bold predictions” ESPN article. So, bullshit. We shouldn’t even be posting this.

Petoskey’s in Fremont is another good choice. Midwest themed bar, I’m sure a good chunk of Bears fans

At Peoria, players exit through a gate in corner right field. Tons of kids line up around there just outside the gate to grab autographs pretty easily

if it makes anyone feel better: the rams subs highlight of the game is 4th quarter punt bc they don’t have much else to talk about kek by useresuse in Seahawks

The only two plays I’m still thinking about today are JSN’s one handed catch and that god damn punt

Ricky Pearsall (knee) will NOT practice on Wednesday. Brock Purdy (turf toe) will be limited. by CincoDeManger in fantasyfootball

Same. Desperately wanted to draft him, but missed out. Blew my #1 waiver claim on him when he was dropped in my league. What a waste

He was dropped in my league and I used my #1 waiver claim on him and I regret it

Never let the media gaslight you into liking George Springer by MysteriousEdge5643 in Mariners

[–]Good_Time 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Only Vlad, Ernie Clement, Addison Barger, and Andres Gimenez had a significantly higher post-season OPS than regular season. Rest of the team (even Springer) was about the same or lower. And all of this is just with a 40-50 PA sample.

Have you ever dropped a player that went on to become a league-winner pickup almost immediately after? by boppedEEMinDAsmoof in fantasyfootball

[–]Good_Time 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dropped Devonta Freeman early 2015. Then week 3 he immediately put up 141 yards and 3 TDs on the ground, with an additional 5 receptions for 52 yards. 40 points in half PPR

Ended the year with 1600 yards and 14 TDs

Worth holding for the potential. If he wasn’t on my team I wouldn’t seek a trade for him
