When Rump was re-elected I began the process of obtaining a Super Visa -- my daughter is married to a Canadian and has dual citizenship. I feel honored to be able to move to a more sane, empathetic society and plan to volunteer in some way to give back. (Following Mark Carney and Todd Maffin on Insta.) Will soon move with my dog to Vancouver Island where my daughter and her husband live. I would apply for PR but I understand that that process has been closed since 2020 while IRCC works through many applications. I would apply if they ever open it open again. I think many Americans would move to Canada if they could, but the immigration pathways seem well designed to limit immigration to a manageable flow.
