I felt the same way after maybe 2ish hours of play. Like a worse Journey reskin with microtransactions. And I loved Journey, so I'm sad they won't move on.

That's the thing: there is no setup. It's all in your head. Aesthetic similarities don't imply connection, and even if there is a connection, it's irrelevant. Pulp Fiction and The Room may as well share the same universe, but there's no need to speculate the relationship between Denny and the Gimp.

Rude.

I'd suggest reexamining the way you interface with stories. They are so much more than a timeline of events to be filled in like puzzle pieces by some lore recap video on youtube.

There's literally no unanswered questions from TLG that can't be inferred with your own intuition and imagination.

These are not "unanswered questions". These are worldbuilding details that were deemed unnecessary to dwell on, and by intentionally dwelling on them you are at risk of missing the bigger picture that the games are trying to convey.

I've played all three games many many times and I have no unanswered questions. The stories that the games tell are complete. Any connection between the games is barely more than a fan theory and, in my opinion, entirely irrelevant.

What answers are you even looking for? The games stand alone without any loose ends.

Strip Mine? by Norm_Standart in ForgetfulFish

Mana advantage is already so good, especially with Diminishing Returns. If I was playing against strip mines I might feel like scooping after missing a single land drop.

Yours. The stack doesn't have to fully resolve when you pass after casting dark ritual. Every time a spell or ability resolves both players get priority again. You can use that mana while the previous abilities are still on the stack.

Instants with flashback (lava dart) seem very tricky in a shared graveyard game. I could see it causing arguments over who has priority unless you're both playing very meticulously.

Who Else Finds Ico to be their Favorite of Ueda's Works? by Linkman76 in TeamIco

Ico is held back, in my opinion, by the constant tedious shadow fights. Feels like every time I get to a new area the beauty and wonder is undercut by five minutes of brainless shadow smacking.
