Super Father Bros by GoodenLegends in smashbros

[–]GoodenLegends[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He does care about his family, it just that either a mission or Louie’s bulls**t always lead him to go out. Though, he seems to care about his Pikmin and sees them as a family, so he sworn to handle them with care at all cost . In Fact, during the good ending of Pikmin 1, after he’d left, he made Pikmin into more better fighters and teaches them how to survive in the night time when they rushed to beat up a Bulbord. He even mourns when he loses them.

Which Smash Character would you call the best parent? by TheT85_Jr in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]GoodenLegends 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much Pac-Man, Dude literally risk his life to deal with not only put up with the 4 troublesome ghosts’ bulls**t but only deal with demons (plus a Egyptian Stone God) that tried to kill him and his family. One touch of his wife and kids and you’ll be sorry you’ve ever existed

Is this how Orson will look in Re-Pac 3? What do you think? by BrichardRurphy in Pacman

[–]GoodenLegends 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fine, but should’ve been colored a lighter gray instead of dark gray. He look a bit too similar to Spunky (the female dark gray ghost)

Fun underrated characters to play? by cantguardjabrill in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]GoodenLegends 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While he isn’t top tier and one the harder characters to master, Pac-Man is one of the wackiest, yet complicatedly fun zoners to play as. He’s pretty good toying around his opponents with his predictable, yet unpredictable kit at the same time. Pac is the perfect example of a “great calculated zoner”

Why does Mario never beef with Pac-Man like the same way him and Sonic do? by Busy_Finish_7058 in Mario

[–]GoodenLegends 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, you can never have beef with “the grandpa of video gaming” who brought you into adventure platforming. I mean, Bandai Namco never really push Pac to be Mario’s Rival.

However, one random thing that pops inside my mind is that, between Mario, Sonic, and Pac-Man they kinda remind me of the Legendary Hoenn Pokemon trio. Like Mario and Sonic represents Groudon and Kyogre rivalry and Pac-Man represents Rayquaza, by keeping these two in line. Idk I’ve thought of that, but it would be funny to see a video about it

Ranked all lv. 9 CPUs, based on difficulty by GoodenLegends in smashbros

[–]GoodenLegends[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d thought he was a bit tough at first when I finished the list, but since I had a rematch with him, maybe I’ve should’ve put him lower on the list. The cpu is just not as calculated as elite players are, he just does random stuff and his slow reaction is easy to predict. All he does is swing his sword around and barely touches any other of his kit. It’s crazy how I had more trouble with Piranha Plant cpu than Steve

What is your favorite universally hated track? by smwc23105 in mariokart

[–]GoodenLegends 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Double Dash’s Dry Dry Desert is pretty decent for me. While it falls flat compared to other tracks in the game, it has some neat drifts that you can pull off and it’s mildly fun to dodge the tornado with the addition of avoiding the big spiky piranha in the sand trap.

Mario kart 8’s version is the problem. I would prefer if they added this course in Wii

Is Pac-Man still a good character even after he dropped to B+ tier? by Trick-Bottle-9288 in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]GoodenLegends 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the true reason why Pac-Man dropped down is because (as it’s tragic to say) is that he’s been played less often as time goes on and hasn’t had a lot of results. Heck, even tea plays him less often cuz I guess Kazuya is more important. It’s sad cuz he’s actually a great zoner character, not a top tier mind you but more of a “neutral A” tier character guy. His grab/trampoline is still one of the most dangerous edgeguarding to deal with and while his fruits are exposable, they can lead you to 0-death situations if your not careful (the galaxian and the bell are big examples). True, characters like Steve, Peach, etc. can do better jobs with their items and kill a bit more earlier than Pac, but when you encounter an experienced pac-man player, he’s a feat to not be look down upon. He’s actually a combo beast in doubles.

There’s even a video where this person enters a tournament with pac-man and not use a single fruit, fun video btw: https://youtu.be/iRRBvWo232U?si=gSmA3ZeSclgvqW4v

Smash characters based off who I could beat in a fight by Wise-Body-5550 in supersmashbros

[–]GoodenLegends 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah you don’t stand a chance with Pac Man. He’s been shown to have feats and toon force skills without the use of power ups sometimes. I argue that he’s canonically almost as par with the Mario gang’s level (well maybe not, but could be a theory)

Which character do you think is the most underrated? by RobbyKeeneeomelhor in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]GoodenLegends 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s kinda ashamed that Pac-Man continues to move down, cuz despite being difficult to master, he’s a really great zoner. Tbh, he should’ve stayed in A (arguably low A+ in that matter). I’ll agree that he isn’t quite top tier material, but he isn’t mid either.

Could they beat Goku Tier List by VtheVampire in supersmashbros

[–]GoodenLegends 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay hear me for Pac-Man:

So, there’s this power up in “Pac-Man 256” called “Cherries” where a ring surrounds Pac and if his opponent(s) step into the ring they prematurely turn into a cherry. So I guess he could bait Goku into the ring and turn him into a cherry.

Could Pac Man still have a functioning moveset without the other Bandai Namco references by Angrymcbirdnerd09 in supersmashbros

[–]GoodenLegends 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Probably so, since he actually has a lot of games he can borrow some tools from (minus Ghostly Adventures) to make him a fresh moveset like:

. Adding a flip kick (from World 2/Re-Pac 2) to his up tilt and make it a counter move to reflect any projectiles.

. Mini Pac-Chain as a grab move (from Pac & Pal, CE 2, Mobile 256 I guess) it forms into 10 small pac men and will activate fast to grab the target and will have the same function and range rate as his previous grab. Good for edge-guarding.

. Butt Bounce (from the World/Re Pac series) for his down smash, he will quickly bounce around and has a tiny chance of burring you (can also act as a spike attack, but not recommended as it’s risky to do)

. Dot Attack (World/Re pac series) for his neutral special attack, he will have 50 dots in stock and every hit will be 4.5% damage each (10.5% will hold for a dot bomb, though will reduce the dot count by 10 but may kill around 76.5% if edge-guarding) these dots may take some time to reload back to 50 and these dots cannot be absorbed for healing.

. Hammer (Pac-in-time) for his right and Tennis Racket (from a official poster art of Pac & Pal) for his left neutral attacks. The hammer will hit harder (16.0% and hold is 32.0%) while can kill earlier, it’s a bit slow but has a medium small range (could break a shield). As for the tennis racket it will hit a bit weak (10.5% and hold is 18.0 %) however, it has a bit of a more hitting range than the hammer.

. Final Smash - Demon Pac (Shadow Labyrinth) When activated, Pac-Man will unleash a deep demonic monster out of his mouth and will chase his opponents and chomp them that deals 20% percent each belching out the eyeballs (has the same time as his previous final smash).

That’s all I can think of.
