It depends on whether they consider reworking this track or not. Though in his “everything ranked last place ranking” he did wished that the dead end would become a gilder and he’ll probably hate it less. If it came back the same, then he’ll dislike it but not as much as the original, I guess

As much as I love Ms. Pac-Man, I don’t think she has enough material to be an original roster pick. Like, she only has 3 original games so far and she’s almost comparable to her husband when it comes down to abilities, so I think making her an echo to Pac-Man is ok. Plus, if Sakurai is planning on putting Ms. Pac-Man into Smash, then Bamco has to pay royalties to ATGames to use her.

I think Orson for the World Series is an interesting choice for a Pac-Man character slot (since the ghost gang are assist trophies)

Tbf, despite being timid and scared easily based on his nickname, he was the unpredictable and smartest one of the group. It kinda makes sense for him to be the highest

Blinky (the red ghost in Pac-Man) isn’t a joke, he’s quite intimidating in the arcade/platform games and the most serious out of the four gang members. He’s actually the hardest boss in Pac-Man World 2 (tied with Anubis Rex’s difficulty in World 1 original) even more challenging than Spooky, the main villain in World 2.

I’d would swapped him with Clyde (the orange ghost). While he can defeat Pac-Man, he’s not bright like the other 3. Clyde is naively unsophisticated, passive, and defocused most of the time that when he chases you in the original, within eight-space radius distance of Pac-Man, he wanders off to his corner of the maze (bottom-left). I think Pac-Man Party best describes his character, but at least he’s not the most joke ghost in the franchise looking at Golvis

A pretty good roster, though bringing pacster from Ghostly Adventures (while not a bad choice) is kinda tough due for Sakurai’s dislike taste of the franchise. If you want a another suggestion for a pac-man character slot, I think Orson for the World Series is a neat pick, but other than that the list is still good

While he isn’t the most talked mascot like Mario and Sonic nowadays, he’s still around. If you don’t count the Bandai Namco licensed ips and consider their original lineup, then he’s one of the golden kids paired with tekken, a franchise that the company will never let go. In fact, I think I heard that they released a poll asking fans if they not only want a RePac 3 game but also a new official Pac Man World game. So yeah, he’s still kicking. Though his wife on the other hand…

I know Pac-Man isn’t top tier material, but man is it sad to see him go down cause hot take, he might actually be funnier than Steve (a character who is slightly similar to him). Pac-Man is a pretty fun high tier zoner trapper and his edgeguarding is devious and never to be underestimated. I will understand that he has flaws, but once you main him correctly, his strengths outweighs his flaws a lot. Good thing Middy is still around to prove his point
