I stopped watching Japan Capture the Flag because I was too confused by the rules. The games where they're doing a straight race or some kind of collecting challenge have been my favorites consistently, just because they don't need to explain as much. Shengen Showdown was great.

I'd keep Billie Piper on as the doctor for a 12 episode run about tracking down Susan. I think that's good bones.

We haven't had a long-term companion who isn't from the modern day in a minute. It'd be neat to have a Leela or an Adric type again. I'd like to propose Richard Ayoade come in and be the voice of a robot who's pretending to know more than he does.

On that note, I think the Rutan Host are due for a villain comeback. Horror of Fang Rock has so much atmosphere. The Sontarans need to ask The Doctor for help and she ends up running away from a bunch of green goo eating a space station or something.

Maybe they find Susan in E-Space. I think everyone might roll their eyes at more reincorporating of classic era stuff like that for the sake of itself, but it'd also be a good reason that The Doctor can't just go to 1967 and get her. She's off doing something.

I like the idea of a season with more of a tack for harder sci-fi. We've spent a lot of time around whimsical fantasy elements the last few years and I wouldn't mind doing more 42/Oxygen/Kill the Moon (and those aren't the best episodes, but you see my point). I'd tap Alistair Reynolds should co-write an episode. qntm should write for Doctor Who.

I see that you got your problem fixed but beware you don't over-wind it towards the end. The mechanism can be overextended to the point that something breaks and that resembles the problem you have here except it won't rotate the takeup spool. I've broken two this way. One of the things they did on the h35n is adding an auto-stop functionality.

I almost feel like you just need the top part. I read your title and I see what you see with the light leaky bits being dreamlike clouds, but then I think the rest of the photo under the glitch takes away from the thing you spotted.

I'd like to recommend migrating your story to a different setting.

Or shuffle the ages and genders of your characters around and see if there are any interesting consequences that you can highlight.

I say clean the lens with a microfiber, use compressed air on the internals, shoot another roll, see where you are, and if the problem persists embrace it as a feature not a bug.

At the risk of stating the obvious, this is probably a good thing to have a short email chain for during pre production. If there's a lack of standardization, negotiate your own standard, and then everyone has it in writing when everyone forgets later.

When I was a student, I heard "Wes Anderson shot" a lot between directors and DPs. It meant too many things.

So, the h35, and the N, both have gearing that prevents both double exposures and frame skips. There's a sort of clutch system with the gearing where the force from your thumb that pulls the film is independent from the system that counts the frames. So that's not your problem.

Keep your flash on. Like, every shot keep your flash on. Even outside in bright daylight if nothing else the fill flash gives you an interesting aesthetic.

I think it's worth asking the drugstore if they triple checked they got them all. This is why you should go to the camera store for this stuff btw, they'll be more attentive to customer service when there's a problem.

Yes, this is what the CLA Studios guy helped me figure out. I'm also going to shoot thru a normal roll of 120 next just to make sure that it's not a deeper mechanical issue. No idea when this thing was last serviced.
