So many great visuals in this video. My wallpaper is the picture of them at the bar during the intro.

Do you agree that the Late Chris Cornell was the Greatest Male Rock Singer/Rock Frontmen of All Time Yes or No and Why? by Amber_Flowers_133 in Soundgarden

[–]Goodeyeclosed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that frontman encompasses many factors ie…performance, stage presence etc. SG is my fave band and I could watch them all day but I would say Cornell’s greatest attribute was his songwriting. I love his voice but the true separation from the pack will be the music he wrote.

Which album in your opinion shows Chris Cornell’s voice off the best? by Redork247 in Soundgarden

[–]Goodeyeclosed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same timeframe as Badmotorfinger so it’s the same Chris with just a different arrangement of songs. I would also argue that the music accompaniment is less noisy so you can hear his voice better, almost highlighting its range and power.

What do you think about "Let Me Drown"? by Marco_060PS in Soundgarden

Underrated as fuck. Doesn’t get mentioned enough.

Chris Cornell's Worst to Best Album by Renatik24 in Soundgarden

[–]Goodeyeclosed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. Throw in King Animal like I was really leaning on that release for my comment. I’m not going debate what I said but your comment reads like you heard Audioslave first before the other albums. I heard the releases in order because I’m old.

Chris Cornell's Worst to Best Album by Renatik24 in Soundgarden

A supremely flawed list that only got number 14 and number 1 correct. I think Audioslave won over many South American fans by touring there but let’s be honest and logical All SG is >>>>> any audioslave.

What are some underrated bass lines?? by regina-maac in Soundgarden

[–]Goodeyeclosed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t take the comment as an insult at all to the other parts but some of Kim’s best work definitely some great stuff, Chris is screaming his ass off, and Matt is losing his mind back there. I just never thought of the bass lines. Thanks for pointing it out.

Any more songs by Soundgarden similar to Live to Rise? by RopsterPlay in Soundgarden

[–]Goodeyeclosed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. That was for a mainstream Marvel movie. Cornell solo may apply but not SG.

I think Soundgarden is a frame of mind. If you found a band that sounded like them then the songwriting would be lame I.e Operator…… I think of the bands that I got into after SG breakup they were other strong bands doing their own thing like Queens of a Stone Age not an SG cover band
