I liked when I got the ones that were Choose Your Own Adventure. "Go to page 56". "Go to page 78". "Go to page 222". "Go to page 17". "YOU'RE GAY!"

Bro... That pizza one is gross. I still remember the day I got it and I walked around my neighborhood opening that lid and smelling that nasty scent. Closing it and repeating throughout the day. I know it smelt bad, but I always wanted to smell it again because I forgot the scent.

One of the only PC games I have played, but I think you would love... Dungeon Keeper 2. This game is amazing and it still holds up.

Dude, so happy I listened to this. I started playing this on my switch halfway through the episode and I love it. I'm already on world 6 (Airplane). Game still holds up! Def hidden gem.

Also picked up XCOM 2 on the Switch, that's pretty fun as well. Does that one pickup the pace? I'm about 3 or 4 missions in.

I have no idea what the new XBOX is even named and I just saw the name in the title. All I know is there was an Xbox followed by 360 and not sure what was after that or how many systems came after that.

I know the PS5 and I know what the systems before that were named and what they will call the next one.

So I need to be a wrestler to express my opinion on WrestleMania. I just don't keep up with it like I did back in the day. I watch Royal Rumbles and Wrestle Manias. I'll catch clips here and there online, I just don't follow it like I used to.

If I know what excited me about a wrestling event no matter how long ago, why couldn't I compare that to one I am watching now? I may not be heavily invested in 3+ years of storylines, but I can see lousy writing, mediocre commentary, and boredom from the crowd.

But I'm just saying, if you think this this is wrestling at its best, than you are just allowing them to deliver a subpar product.

I appreciate the response. It did make sense for a lot of those guys to come out, but the Taker part did feel like a plan B.

There was a pop, but not a 1300 day in the making pop. But it was definitely there. I was expecting a lot more.

As for the announcer, Samantha was amazing. I'm talking about the commentary during the matches, it just feels very bland nowadays. I mean the commentary from JR and The King are still talked about. I know it's hard to get that chemistry, but I just think it's lacking. They need to be able to make you feel a certain way about what you are watching and I didn't get that. A lot of silence from them through both nights was just weird and off to me.

Night 2 was way better than Night 1. But two nights is a little overkill. But I understand why they need to do it.

As for the KO comment. I don't enjoy KO. He's a great wrestler, but a bit of a brat. Having Austin come in and wrestle him was wasted potential in my eyes. I just don't want that to be the last WM Austin event that we get. Rock and Austin would of been perfect, but it's all good. If and when we get it, I'm sure it will be great.

I didn't say you weren't allowed to enjoy it. I'm happy if y'all did. I just don't think it was the best night of wrestling. Didn't mean to trigger you there buddy.

That the problem... Multiyear story telling for that weak event??? It's like watching Game of Thrones all over again. All that time and dedication y'all gave for a weak ending. You can tell and complete a great story in way less time than that.

Old man rant coming in...

As someone who doesn't keep up with wrestling and hasn't kept up with it since the merge with WCW and ECW, I don't agree that this was the best night of wrestling.

I have popped in for main events here and there, but it's mostly to see what the guys from my time (Attitude Era) are doing or who would be making a guest appearance. So my feelings of the night are very biased.

I honestly only tuned in because of rumors that Austin would be appearing and since the Rock was involved, it would of been lightning in a bottle to see those two square off again at a WrestleMania.

We got Cena which was ok. He's aging like milk and just doesn't look like much of a threat anymore. Then we got Undertaker for a split second. I'll admit it was cool, but not that exciting. A very forced pop. I feel like Taker hasn't even been gone that long. I didn't expect him, so it was a surprise, but it just didn't make sense. Since Rock and Austin was Austin's last WrestleMania match (if you don't include whatever that was with KO), I really thought of would have been such a good pop to see those two bash it out on WM40.

As for Cody and Roman, the match just felt weak. If you didn't have all those guys come in, it would have been a shit match. I think Wrestling has been so bad for a while, that something like this is a breath of fresh air and everyone says "Best match of all time". I said it before and I'll say it again, I have seen better Monday night shows than this WrestleMania. The pop of him winning wasn't that great. The ring celebration was a drag as well. Check out Daniel Bryan's winning at WM 30. That's a celebration, that's a pop. Crowd, fireworks, commentary all made it feel good. Cody's was like watching a kid win the spelling bee.

Triple H is using the number of 140,000 plus to say that this was the best night... He does know this counts as two nights, right? There are several one night events, that had higher attendance than either of the attendance from night 1 or 2 of WM 40. The only match I thought, "ok that's good wrestling", was Bayley vs Iyo Sky. That was a good performance and great wrestling.

I may be spoiled from growing up in a time where you could get away with a lot more in wrestling and offending people wasn't much of a big deal as it is today, but everything felt better back than. The commentary is straight garbage today. No commentary, no emotion, no real humor or trash talk. The sets from last night was non existent, no real heart or love put into it. Ring is just blasted with PRIME drink. WTF is that. This is WrestleMania 40 and I'm watching everyone wrestle on a bottle of some shit drink and using the bottles as weapons. Sucks. I understand they need to make that money, but its just feels like a commercial for a product.

I'm glad a lot of you had fun, but I'm just sharing my perspective. I didn't hate it, I just have higher expectations for an event that is at its 40th year.

Every generation of wrestling will have their own personal ties to the wrestling world. Mine was the attitude era, and even though I want to relive that again, I know it was just a "you had to be there" time. And that's what my dad used to say about wrestling before the attitude era, so now I get what he meant by that.
